THANKS for your sweet comments! I absolutely love my room and I spend way too much time in here  Wink. Here's a link to the place where I got the phone and of course I'm like a five year old as well - how can you not love a phone that looks like that?  Grin http://www.telia.se/privat/katalog/VisaProdukt.do?productRef=/privat/produkter_tjanster/fasttelefoni/produkterocherbjudanden/telefoner/teliakobra.product@SE_TELIA

The IKEA rack is a kitchen accessory! Here's a link http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/categories/series/12386/  It's perfect for pencils, scissors and all of those small stuff that always gets lost  Wink Gotta love IKEA!

Hi there, thanks for this great tutorial.
I (a man) made this bag too (with the help of my mother .. Wink).

Here is the result http://electricroom.carbonmade.com/projects/2090090#1
The outer fabric is Display Banner on which I printed the pattern in a Copy-Shop.
Stitching took 3hours ..  I hope we'll be faster next time Smiley

Your bags are awesome!!!

Thank you so much for your compliments! I just came back from a trip to London and it worked out great with my bag. It really holds a lot of stuff!  Grin

May I just add another question - How much fabric did you use?
Wow, I really don't know. I bought like 4 yards of this fabric because it was on sale and I still have a ton left. Sorry I couldn't help  Undecided

Two questions:

1) Your bag stands on its own very nicely (I'm assuming there's nothing in it....). What type/weight interfacing did you use?

2) On the tute, she states to allow an inch for seams. Do I need to ADD an inch to each of her measurements?

I have some fabric that I think would be WONDERFUL for this! Thanks so much for posting your bag with the link to the tute. There's no way I would have found that one from 2005!!! You did a great job. Your colors/fabric choices are fantastic, and your seams are perfect. It looks very professional.

Thanks again!

Thank you!!
1) Actually, it's not. It almost stands on it's own but since I wanted to show the size of the bag I stuffed it with a huge blanket and two kid sized bathrobes (and it still wasn't full). I used iron on fleece and interfacing because that's what I got here at home.
2) I did. Sizewise you don't have to, it's still gonna be big.

The bag looks really great! About how big does it turn out to be? How much do you think it will hold?

Thanks! The bag is about 19" x 11" x 8" and it will hold alot! It's a big bag.

THANK YOU!! Yeah, I've been eyeing that tutorial for a long time and I'm so glad I tried it! The bag is really large and has room for all the goodies you need to go on a weekend trip!
