1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: MMMMM Fried Marbles..... on: September 06, 2012 04:49:03 PM
My friends and I used to do this when I was a kid. We made all kinds of stuff with them. We would buy plain old marbles and cook them up. I like the clear/colored ones best. I love the idea of making a necklace with one. Thank you for the idea!!

I think the grey background looks great-  What your eye sees as a mistake may look groovy in others eyes.  He could be looking at an art installment of chunky wall.... whatever.

You did a great job! Wink

You did an awesome job making that colorful skirt!  I admire you for taking the time and the patience it took to put that together.  I can't sew- well, let's say, I have taken the time to learn to sew, so my hat's off to all of the craftsters here that can make beautiful fashions to wear!  I want to be able to do the same thing one day soon!

Keep up the awesome work!

Wow! If I die and come back as a bird, I want to live in one of your birdhouses! They are spectacular! How long does it take you to make one?  They are truly beautiful!

You did a great job altering an ugly calendar! I love it! I saw one of those calendars at a local thrift store and I thought about picking it up but couldn't think of what to do with it.

Keep altering the world ~ it makes it a more colorful place!

Peace & magic,
PJ

What type of socks are you using? I haven't found any that don't start fraying after a few washings ( yes, I am lazy and don't feel like tacking the cut edges down... or even knitting a pair...) I like that black pair you are wearing!

So easy and quick - perfect for surfing and sewing - I have several pairs, long and short, and just throw them in the wash - they don't unravel or anything - no sewing needed, and a great way to reuse poor old, worn out socks!  Cheesy

All I can say is "WoW"!  The book is beautiful!  You have a great imagination and your art skills rock!

Hope to see more of your books soon!
