Hope this is in the right place!

I have a stash of white shiny glazed tiles I want to turn into amazing beautiful flower pot stands.

I'm after some advice as to the best type of paint and varnish/sealant to use please. Also some links so I can work out the UK version of products would be immensely helpful!

9  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Discussion and Questions / how do you make your moulds? on: June 21, 2011 01:22:05 PM
other than the scilpey elasticlay stuff. I remember by dad making moulds from silicone based glue (copydex?) but I cant remember the exact method.

I have tried searching but to no avail!

eta: tried searching again with the correct spelling and more replies funnily enough! Id still like more info on flexible moulds though as most of the results im finding are for hard molds

10  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Party Planning / pirate party for a 5yr old on: June 07, 2011 09:31:13 AM
yarr! almost too many ideas to know what to do! yarr!

Having a pirate party at home for my daughters 5th. She only plays with boys so we are having 10 boys over plus my sons 'girlfriend' (he is 6 lol)

I want to try and keep the costs down, so we can afford a bouncy castle, im going to read all of the piratey posts on this board but if anyone could give me some ideas i would be most grateful!

The invitations are done, treasure map style. I mostly need ideas for homemade things for party bags, and homemade decorations for the house.

Im thinking of making a pirate ship picnic blanket for them to sit at as they wont fit round our table! Has anyone done something like that before? Id love to see photos!

thanks in advance!
