[After visiting this forum for awhile and seeing how amazing people's shrinky dink (shrink plastic) pendants were coming out, i decided to give it a try! It was only like 4.50 for a package of 12 at Michaels. The first ones didn't look very good because i used sharpies, and i didn't quite like the color, but i tried colored pencil and i LOVED the colors. It's so fun to watch them shrink and curl up and then uncurl!!!! Just don't be dumb like me and pick it up when it gets out of the oven I was just really excited to touch it. anyway, here they are, sorry about the crappy pictures. I can't take pictures to save my life.*NOTE* Since i can't draw worth beans, most of these were traced; some designs i even found on this website and on etsy. If it is your design, PLEASE tell me!!! I WOULD LOVE TO CREDIT YOU!!!!!This is the first one, which i wasn't very happy with the color. They're two swallows and the thing around the heart says "Hope." It was a design from a pirates of the carribean shirt i have. This is my sad cupcake. And i want to make him a charm from his favorite you tube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGvw6WpHSF4 it's from robot chicken, it's a giraffe in quicksand that goes through the 5 stages of death) but i have no clue how to get a screen shot to trace the giraffe... any help?]

My best friend and I were obsessed with Top Gun for the longest time, so for her birthday, I made us both Top Gun shirts with our nicknames (she was "Maverick" and i was "Iceman" which is weird since they were enemies and we were best friends, but whatever)

My favorite shirt of all time, my Wicked shirt. Again, hand painted with fabric paints. I wanted a Wicked shirt, because it's my favorite musical EVER, but they're far too expensive, so i made my own

My boyfriend and I are pretty much in love with Ninja Turtles, so when the movie came out, I had to have a shirt.

My boyfriend and I were at the movie theatre at midnight for the opening of Spiderman 3, so i had to have a shirt. Found the idea online, but did this one myself

So i know it's been done a million and a half times, but when i was in the 5th grade (about 5 years ago) we took a field trip to an art museum and one of the pieces was a skirt half made out of ties, so my mom and i were inspired. and although i didn't sew it, because i can't sew worth beans, it's my awesome tie skirt!!! When i first wore it, everyone thought it was ugly (but that was just because it wasn't from limited too lol), but now everyone loves it (and yes, i can still wear the same skirt 5 years later). So yes. Do tell your opinions. I want to make an all pink one soon.
