Okay so i don't know what my problem is. I have multiple projects going and i love knitting i just feel like doing it is such a chore. Once I pick it up i'm fine but , i don't know, i just can't get into it. I want to try to take a break and get back into it but i have christmas presents that need to be finished. Does anyone have any advice they can give me to keep me going till after i'm done with the presents? Any suggetions are welcome!
I"m sorry i find it funny that in magazines they tell you about affordable hand knits for fall and winter - yeah right!! I was just looking through a magazine yesterday and one of the items was a scarf, A SCARF!! and the price for it was $100!!!!!!!!! I ran and showed my friend. I was in hysterics. When she asked what was so funny { she's not a knitter] I told her a scarf in the magazine cost $100 and i could make it for like $10. Now i'm stuck making a scarf for my dear friend. Anyone else seen these type of rip-off items?
Okay so i'm having a b-day party. And my friends are asking me what i want and most of them are non-knitters. I really want yarn. Should I ask for it? And what are some other ideas for my b-day gifts? All suggestions helpful.... right now i have the thumbalina soundtrack and that's it.{long story}
Okay so AC MOORE is holding a knitting festival. And i'm think what the heck are they going to be doing at this festival?Well i got a flyer and it looks like we are going to be making wine bottle covers !!! So i'm thinking yay!! I don't need a paper bag i have something fancier for my liquor now!! JOKING!! anyway i think it's pretty bizarre but i'm gonna go anyway. Just wanted to know if anyone else has gone to something like this. Didn't mean for the story to happen sorry!!

I'm making a scarf and I can't quite get the ribbing figured out and i don't know what the heck i'm doing wrong. At first i thought it might be the size needles which i am using 10 but the pattern called for 11s so i don't think that they are stretched out.Oh and if it helps i started with two rows of the knit stitch
I found a nice pair of gloves made of wool navy and white yarn and i thought hey i can make these but i can't find a pattern so does anyone have any ideas where to get one?
Okay so i know christmas is a long way away but i knit really slow. So i have decided to knit the architect scarf from knit cafe for my ex-bf who i'm really good friends with now. And i was wondering if anyone as made any of their guy friends things and what their reactions were.
I am having trouble purling. I do it and i comes out looking good......... for a few rows anyway then it starts to come out wierd and not look like a purl anymore. What am i doing wrong? What can i do to fix it?
