in the book knit cafe there is about 2 patterns for kids. I belive one i a skirt. I think it is either garter or stockiette and is can be made with mostly leftover yarn.It looks like a cute thing kids would wear.

Okay so i'm having a b-day party. And my friends are asking me what i want and most of them are non-knitters. I really want yarn. Should I ask for it? And what are some other ideas for my b-day gifts? All suggestions helpful.... right now i have the thumbalina soundtrack and that's it.{long story} Undecided Smiley

Yeah it really stunk i expected something more interesting than what was there. An old lady giving away the pattern for the wine pattern. IT WAS LAME!! i did however sign up to win a prize hopefully i win one. I bought more yarn and a basket to put it in cuz i'm tired of keeping it all in bags.  Hopefully something better wil come up sooner. Undecided
