If you want the rows closer together on the knifty knitter you can either use thicker yarn of you can double up the strands and use two.

Good for you! I started back in about a year ago after a long break (though that didn't really stop me buying yarn, go figure!) and now I can't stop!
Sometimes all you need is a break from the knitting, but not always from they supplies!
Good Job!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / IIIIIIIIIIII Can Make That!!!! on: October 16, 2007 02:01:53 PM
I"m sorry i find it funny that in magazines they tell you about affordable hand knits for fall and winter Cheesy- yeah right!! I was just looking through a magazine yesterday and one of the items was a scarf, A SCARF!! and the price for it was $100!!!!!!!!! I ran and showed my friend. I was in hysterics. When she asked what was so funny { she's not a knitter] I told her a scarf in the magazine cost $100 and i could make it for like $10. Now i'm stuck making a scarf for my dear friend. Anyone else seen these type of rip-off items?
