A little bit of flux on your jump ring..

I basically use a small vice thing...I don't know what they are called..to hold my pendant still..then use needle nose pliers to hold my jump ring..a little flux on my jump ring and then using my iron, remelt some of the solder on the top and push the jump ring into it
