22  CRAFTSTER CRAFT CHALLENGES / Craftster Craft Challenge Theme Ideas, Etc. / cd art on: July 06, 2007 09:23:10 AM
i was just browsing the internet, when i found this:

http://iamboredr.com/2007/06/23/the-hole-in-cds/

and i thought 'boy, you could do so many things with the hole in the middle of the cd...'

so i decided why not post this on craftster? it would work as a challenge theme idea...
you would get any spare cd you have and paint it, incorporating the hole in the middle somehow.

( Note: i did not make these! i am just using them as examples. )
23  COOKING / Dessert / 'Rainbow' cookies...? (Really just colorful) on: June 23, 2007 04:15:27 PM
A friend of mine is having a party soon, and it's going to be rainbow-themed. She has rainbow punch, rainbow decor... but she can't find a recipe for 'rainbow' cookies. If I can't find a good recipe, i'll just suggest that 'stained glass window' cake with the life savers... but she thought that might be a bit too much junk food, 'cause we're going to be having the punch, and chips, and popcorn, so she thought cookies would be best.
 Huh
Any suggestions?

Thanks! (from me and my friend)  Wink
24  CLOTHING / Shoes: Discussion and Questions / Flip flop ideas on: June 14, 2007 09:21:05 AM
i have some plain white flip flops from old navy, and i really want to decorate them. this would be my first time doing anything with shoes, so i have no idea what to do with them. i have a bunch of different kinds of paint, sharpies, ribbon, beads....and i can get any other materials if i need to. any ideas?  Huh a friend suggested writing 'flip' all over one in different styles of writing, and 'flop' on the other, and that's the only idea i have so far.
ideas please! (and keep in mind that i'm a total beginner with shoes!! Wink)

Thanks!
