2  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Discussion and Questions / Re: any spinners that don't really crochet or knit? on: November 07, 2010 05:45:51 PM
I am totally in the same boat.. I have crocheted for years, mostly amigurumi, and have had spells of knitting obsessions.. But anymore all I want to do is spin. I have spun so much lately on a lovely Navajo spindle by Roosterick on etsy. I have so many skeins of handspun yarn laying around, but I don't really have any desire to make anything with it. I just want to spin and spin and spin..

this shirt is so amazing!! I am currently trying to disect the photo of the piece to compose a pattern, and am off to a decent start. Any and all help is appreciated.. One hesitation that I have is that I don't know if all of the red centre pieces are seperate and then joined, or joined as they are being made..  Undecided Thanks a bunch!!http://www.freepeople.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/products.detail/productID/9756481c-459a-4123-8c75-75f2f638b461/cmCategoryID/683d4023-53f5-4900-b5ce-ecf465df31a9

10  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Cosplay Gloves? on: September 01, 2007 04:15:08 PM
I want to make Cosplay items for Yoko from the anime Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. She wears the most awesome gloves, I wanted to crochet a pair, but they have a missing square on the top side.. I'm not worried about the cuff, that will be a seperate part I will attatch in the end.. Do you guys think these would even be possible for little ol' me to make? Any suggestions? Please..
