51  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / QUEENS OF HOT PINK UNITE!!! on: July 18, 2004 06:58:01 PM
allo everyone!
long-time maker, long-time craftster, short-time member, i say hello all!!!

alrighty, down to business
see, heres my problem.
while in a thrift shop i stumbled upon the oh-too-perfect 1970's coat pattern. its the epitome of a fun retro coat and i know exactly what i want to do with it. but. heres the problem. my idea is to make it out of bright hot-pink wool (or the like material) and line it with a neon orange silk (of sorts). this is the general color scheme. yet, with all of this searching, i have been unable to find hot pink wool of any kind. PLEASE, any ideas, tips or web sites, ANYTHING would be wonderful. I MUST find this wool to make my too-perfect coat.
