1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Pants into vest/shirt/shrug..? I don't know really on: July 08, 2007 11:19:18 PM
So, a couple days ago I decided I wanted to make some old pants fit me again, and then I decided I probably wouldn't wear them anymore even if they did fit me. So I basically ripped them apart and made this.
Pants Before; (horrible and old picture of me.)

And After; (sorry, boob shots everywhere, haha. And also, the close-up makes it looks kinda messy and stuff, but it's actually not too bad in person.)

2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Yay, first shirt recon. on: July 02, 2007 12:20:25 AM
Stupid me, I forgot to take a before picture.  Embarrassed But this is basically the style of the shirt, obviously not the same shirt, at all.

And sorry that the after pictures are so crappy, I lost my camera, so I had to use my webcam.
Anyways, here's the front. Sorry for the horrible boob shot. haha.
The back.

And a close up of the straps.

3  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / My first shoe recon. on: June 21, 2007 02:06:59 AM
First off, I wanna apologize for the shitty pictures,my camera has no batteries so I had to use my iSight on my MacBook Pro.
 Before:

After: I have to admit I don't think they're anything special, haha. They didn't turn out how I wanted them to.

4  CLOTHING / Shoes: Discussion and Questions / re-vamping canvas shoes. on: June 11, 2007 04:23:16 PM
I have some canvas flats that I don't wear anymore, so I want to make them wear-able again.
I was wanting to do some decoupaging with magazine clippings or possibly some pages from comic books.
But, I have no idea where to start or what kind of glue to use, or anything like that.
If someone could link me to a tutorial or just give me some advice, that'd be great. Thanks in advance.
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / shirt/hoodie (6 pictures) on: June 11, 2007 12:19:06 AM
This is my first time posting something I made in here, so I'm a little nervous about this, haha.
I made this about a week ago, and I'm really in love with it.
Any feedback or comments would be greatly appreciated.
Close-up of the sleeve.

Front pocket and bottom hem.

Close-up of front pocket. And one of the two little blue heart buttons. And yeah, my seams aren't straight at all.

Front view.

Side seam.

Hood and side-kinda. Where the neck and hood connect isn't actually all weird like that, it just got weird when I was taking pictures.
