1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Pants into vest/shirt/shrug..? I don't know really on: July 09, 2007 12:47:13 PM
I was worried people would ask for a tutorial. Honestly I had no idea what I was doing when I was making it, and I'm not exactly sure what I did, but I could try to make one, it might not be very good though, haha. I'll start working on one.
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Pants into vest/shirt/shrug..? I don't know really on: July 08, 2007 11:19:18 PM
So, a couple days ago I decided I wanted to make some old pants fit me again, and then I decided I probably wouldn't wear them anymore even if they did fit me. So I basically ripped them apart and made this.
Pants Before; (horrible and old picture of me.)

And After; (sorry, boob shots everywhere, haha. And also, the close-up makes it looks kinda messy and stuff, but it's actually not too bad in person.)

I think the braiding looks kinda messy on the pictures, but it looks so much better in real life, haha.

Stupid me, I forgot to take a before picture.  Embarrassed But this is basically the style of the shirt, obviously not the same shirt, at all.

And sorry that the after pictures are so crappy, I lost my camera, so I had to use my webcam.
Anyways, here's the front. Sorry for the horrible boob shot. haha.
The back.

And a close up of the straps.

The Nightmare Before Christmas is my favourite movie. I love the Jack one, but they both look really good.

I did them quite awhile ago.
They're alright, I guess, haha. I haven't tried wearing them yet though.

I live about 30ish minutes outside of Saskatoon in a small town.
Are you on the Delisle side of Saskatoon or the Martensville side?
The Delisle side, but more east. If you know where Clavet is you pass through there to get where I live.
