1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Little Girls' Library Totes on: October 30, 2007 08:55:46 PM
I made these for two little girls to put library books in. There is a pocket on the front where the monogram is that can hold the library card. They wanted something really girly "like hearts or flowers" (which I found) and one wanted purple and the other pink. I hope they like them! The finished size is 14" wide by 15" tall and a 4" gusset at the bottom.

2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / My Shoulder Bags - First bag post! on: September 02, 2007 06:14:28 AM
This is the first time I've shared my purses on here. I made one for myself and have been using it since beginning of spring...and now I'm making even more. So much fun:)
Comments/suggestions welcome:) Smiley

3  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Sun,Clouds & Animals Baby Quilt on: August 10, 2007 01:31:27 PM
I made this for my 10 month old. I made his crib bedding in chocolate brown and blue so I thought i'd make him something a bit more bright, colourful and 'babyish' for his quilt.
(I took his bumpers out for the pic - it really clashes..haha.)
It's actually pretty bright - looks kind of dark in these pictures.

The back is a striped flannel.

Detail. I did all of the binding by machine. Wink
4  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Bright Flannel Pinwheel Quilt ~ for my son:) on: July 09, 2007 06:23:23 PM
My 5 year old son picked out this fabric. I chose the pinwheel design. I've only done squares before, so this is my first time with triangles. It's really soft and he loves it:)

This is my first post of something I've made btw Grin

This is before it was quilted:

I just quilted a freehand wavy stitched line around the edge and around each of the squares:
