Very pretty!  What a great source for embroidery and you executed it superbly!  What will you use it for?

BRILLIANT!  Even w/o the reason you had to do it, it would be cool!  I'm joining the happy mob in hitting "THIS ROCKS!"

If you're interested in communications, then don't spend your time on a phaser, make one of those ear piece Uhura had!  Here's my close encounter story... I once talked to Nichelle Nichols on her home phone!  I had to call her for my boss to let her know a fax was coming.  She said it was nice to meet me!   Grin Shocked

That's just great!  You did a great job and I'm soooo impressed with your insignia.

Look what you've done.  I've just been wasting my time trying to remember/find what the uniform colors stood for.  (I'll forgive you because now I can carry this happy image through my day and spend my time in bed before actually falling asleep thinking about how to make one.)  Apparently the uniform color code was highly inconsistent throughout the original series, the subsequent spin-offs, and the movies.  So just put me out of my misery and tell me what division you intended by choosing the  goldenrod(?) uniform.

Red means you're going to die on the away mission.  Except for Scotty, it's the color of the Disposable Crew Member.

Jamie, in the words of one of you countrymen, "Can you feel the loooooove toniiiiight?"

Your work is always inspirational in it's creativity and execution and your presence here on craftster is a real benefit to us all - at least those of us who stalk the needlework board.  Ahem.
3926  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: A cute lil pint-sized re-creation of Nyla's B-day outfit. PICS!!! on: April 02, 2009 05:53:59 PM
You know just the other day I was wondering if you were still sewing and posting, because I hadn't seen anything in a while (of course, I don't check the clothing boards directly very often) and I am SO GLAD you are still at it!  You have such talent and give such charm and life to your creations (of course, the model brings a bunch of that she got from her mama, too)!  That lucky baby is going to be the hit of the Easter Parade.

What a great representation!  These made me chuckle.

Wow.  That's a stunner!  I really like all the texture you seem to have going there. What kind of stitches did you use?

OH! youve missed the most beautiful part! the south of the country! Grin You have to come back and visit la Patagonia Argentina! there's so much to see!! and all places are awesome Grin
I live in Neuquen, in the north west of Patagonia, and you're welcome if you come here next time!. You'll love it !:D

Best wishes and have a nice trip back home!

Romina Grin

We had a difficult time choosing where to focus our time, because 3 weeks is not enough time to see it all and we chose hot weather, because it's cold and raining here at home right now.  We both REALLY want to come back to see more with Patagonia at the top of the list.  If we do, you'll be hearing from me!  THANK YOU!  Grin

Have a great autumn!
3930  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: The Adventures of Bigfoot: NE Argentina & SW Uruguay (5 pics) on: March 30, 2009 09:22:15 PM
lol Even Bigfoot needs to go on vacation. I like him sneaking away from the amusement park... like he's just been up to some trouble. Maybe he was sneaking treats off the churro cart. And he looks so natural strolling past the stream. What a fun little tradition to start. I might have to make a collection for my BIL.

Who needs a vacation more? I mean, he's been stalked by paparazzi for decades, not just a couple years like these whiny movie stars! Pshaw!
