I'm with everyone here about how cute the set is and how adorable your daughter is!  I love how her little pigtails look a bit like owl "ears" to match her cape!

Awe and some!  I'm almost speechless.  I just hope that the party isn't in any thatched roof cottages, THATCHED ROOF COTTAGES!

That's really cool!  The candle idea is an awesome tribute to your success - creating from something that usually only takes away.  Maybe I'm going overboard, but [steps onto soap box] nicotine addiction killed my dad and made the last years of his life something no one would ever want for themselves or anyone they loved so I kind of can't help myself.  I'm always so  impressed with those who quit "for good", because it's not only the best thing for you, but the best gift you can give the people who love you. 3924  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: A Jar of Mini Whimsies Swap (CLOSED send-outs 4/23) on: April 02, 2008 01:16:10 PM
Isn't a pint glass what they serve beer in?  Aren't those somewhat easy to find?  I have several in my cupboard.  Well, at least to see how much volume a pint is.  Need a jar with a lid...

Oh the international thing!  In the US most pint glasses of beer aren't actually a full pint.  If you go to a UK style pubs, some of the microbreweries you are a lot more likely to get an actual pint.
3925  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Witch Self Portrait Drawing. on: April 01, 2008 06:28:08 PM
That's clever and attractive.  I get a kick out of the fact that when I read "self-portrait" I went back to look at your avatar and found Tom Selleck!  I do remember blue hair from your usual avatar, though.  Cool!

LOL!  I bow to thee!

hehe!  I guess hand-me-downs do[/ count as an old wardrobe.

Fantastic!  It's extra funny as I doubt that Vulcans would decorate their bodies with jewelry... it's illogical.  I love Star Trek, even though I stopped watching a couple seasons into Enterprise.  Thanks for the link!

I bet there aren't speaker cozies!  I've printer and scanner cozies, though.

Well, the bowl was cleaned every week.  But not just with fresh water and conditioner.  A large bowl of water was set out the night before so all the chlorine could evaporate and it could come to room temp.  Also, Bubbles was only fed about 3 times per week and not more than she would eat.  So not only did she not over-eat, he bowl stayed cleaner (less rotting food and less rotting poop).
