When she realizes how adorable she looks in hats, she'll love them!  CUTE!

That's so glamourous!  You did a great job!  Why didn't we all have an uncle like that?  Damn.

Thanks everyone!  I really like the second pair, too, but think that each fits each girls' personality and needs.  I sure hope I'm right!

what do i do for my 2 brothers?!
ages, 15 + 13
I am planning on buying a christmas gift bag and filling them with the same things so they dont feel like one got more than the other etc, but I will personalise somethings to suit them.
They are just normal teenage boys, they like computer games and playing around outside.
Please suggest a few small things I could put in there bags?

And my sister is 20
Shes a beauty therapist and is getting her pilots license.
Its her first xmas away from home, but we will be seeing her at grandmas house. I have nooo idea what she would like?

Don't know the size of your gift bags, butT-shirts can roll up pretty small.  You could stencil some with cool stuff.

Not the most elaborate of crafts, but slight modifications to shoes for my nieces.  It's kind of a tradition that their Auntie T-rex gives them shoes for Christmas.  T-rex loves her some shoes after all.  But, I wanted to have a craftier holiday this year and didn't feel up to tackling making-making shoes.

For J who's 11 years old, 5'4"+ and a woman's size 10 shoe.  That's my size, but I don't feel sorry for me, just her.

I covered BIG buttons with that hot pink faux fur that I put a white grommet through first.  Actually sewed them on (using Vice Grip to push and pull needle though, then ended up bending the shank and gluing them down with E6000 anyway).  Apologies for the blurry photo - it's dark early and that's as still as I could be for some reason.

For Jorda who's 9 and a girls' size 3.  Actually more difficult to find a shoe to modify for her.

Found these heart buckle/buttons and added the green ribbon.  E6000 holds it all together.

Thanks for looking!

I swear my life is bugged.  Yesterday a flyer arrived via mail from the City of Portland Office of Sustainable Development saying, among other things, that "yogurt-type tubs, buckets, and rigid plant pots" will be recyclable at the curb!  I know this isn't exactly craft-related, heathersy, but I just had to share.  Woo!

Very clever!  Please post your sushi set when it's done! I've been super interested in decoupaging on glass (to be used for food) and nervous about it.  Are you  going to resin the finished product?  I'm so enamored of John Derian's stuff, but there's just no way to justify the expense on my budget.

In a weird-connection-like way, I just got off the phone with a photographer friend who's photo was just selected to be in National Geographic April 2008.  Maybe I'll make him a plate of his image after it comes out... and I've gained confidence.

Whoa!  I feel all excited about those, but am kind of speechless.  What are the 2 bird-themed pieces made of?  They look like porcelain.
