That's so adorable!  I surely hope you'll give us an action shot... even if she has to wear the belt.   Wink
3792  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Mature completed project!!! on: December 23, 2008 09:23:30 PM
Teehehe!  Holy moly that made me laugh!  It was my first time clicking on a project with the new "mature content" image.  I often find that "mature content" usually means "immature content for adults only"  and I was not disappointed!

I especially got a kick out of the picture of you holding that giant, sort floppy thing!  I hope your sister enjoys getting it as much as I enjoyed this post!

Those look really neat!  I bet they're going to be a hit!  About how big are they?

thats funny. great idea and great job!

Thank you!

Very creative - and if the pins won't fully get the frustration out of your friend's system, because it's soft she can whack it into a wall or jump on it without damaging anything!

How hard/easy to use is the printable fabric?  I've only recently acquired a printer and haven't been game to look into it yet, but the possibilities are mind blowing...

I'm actually an offender at Loud Bad Neighbour Music.  But since I only play loudly, badly and with the windows open when my neighbours are either shouting at each other or playing the same hideous Country & Western song over and over again so loudly I can hear every word from the other side of the street, I consider it a form of revenge.  Cheesy

Thank you and you have some good points there... this thing slices, dices AND Julianes (however that's spelled).  It's SUPER easy, but it's kind of expensive.  So get comfortable loading different papers into it for printing one-offs so you know how it will react before you try this stuff - mine likes to suck multiple sheets in if there is a single sheet of a different kind of paper on top of the regular printer paper, but won't pick it up if there's only one sheet in there, so I put my finger on the stack under the single sheet to keep the others from feeding in.  Also, know which side it prints on - for instance I have to load mine with the side I want to print on facing down. This company also makes silk to run through ink jet printers!

This is awesome!  Esp since at this very moment, I'm embattled with my very annoying noisy neighbors... do you have any other voodoo dolls?  Smiley

I've got like 20 other voodoo dolls, but they're all for critters that you don't want in your home or yard (mosquitos, fleas, squirrels, raccoons, etc.).  If you stalk me, you'll find most of them posted here.  I also did one of a yelling guy, but I don't remember if I posted him.  Hmmm.

That's hilarious!

Why thank you, audioscience.
3795  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: Tricycle Onesie... or is that a "Threesie"? on: December 23, 2008 09:06:33 PM
A threesie.  Cheesy You always do fun things with appliques and transfers. Hope your cousin is able to make it up. I'm in Tacoma, so also sharing that crazy weather. Waiting on my brother to come up from the Oregon coast...

Aw, thanks!  I hope he is, too.  We only get he and his wife every other xmas so...
3796  COOKING / Dessert / Re: It was a Red Velvet Birthday on: December 23, 2008 06:03:23 PM
That looks fabulous!  Good for you for celebrating!  My birthday is in January, so it gets overlooked by some people. A few years ago I threw myself a party and from then on I've taken the situation into my own hands.  Not that I do something extravagant (for instance last year I was super sick and just stayed home), but I make sure to celebrate in some fashion.
3797  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: Christmas cards -- fabric scraps and buttons on: December 23, 2008 05:59:05 PM
Adorable!  I just love them.  Are the trees and buttons glued to paper?

Sewing machine for the trees, and hand-stitching for the buttons.  I don't trust glue. Cheesy

Me, either!  I just couldn't see from the photo.  Sewing would really add a touch of quality to them.
3798  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Loud Neighbors on: December 23, 2008 05:56:20 PM
I'm a little scared now. I play the trombone... But who would voodoo someone who cooks, knits, sews and watches Oprah all in the same day (and Ellen, The View, and House too) I dont even practice that much and im OK. I cant really dedicate myself to anything. I wish your friend goodluck with the whole tuba thing, I know how loud those can be. the only tuba in beginners band is INSANELY loud, my ears are always ringing after practice. I want one of those, but for school. I hate algebra, it makes my brain hurted  Huh

What's sad is that she loves music and is open-minded about it and would probably be really supportive if he would practice at courteous times and was showing some sign of improvement.

This ROCKS!  Wink

I'm in band (play the bassoon and flute), and I'm sure my neighbors could have used one of these. This is a fantastic idea.... I think I might hve to show my band teacher. Hahaha....

Thanks!  If only the real tuba rocked!  I'm sre the volume and the low tones make it worse to be neighbors with a tuba than a flute and bassoon.  More so the flute.   Cheesy  Kiss
