3791  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Craftster Itself / Re: Is anyone else having this problem? "Black Hole" on: December 23, 2007 11:21:38 AM
I got the slow thumbnails thing before my cable sitch, but now that I think about it other pages are slow for me since then, as is email downloads to Outlook, so I think my speed thing really is my internet connection combined with my ancient wireless router.  BUT!  The thumbnail thing must be firefox.  It's not consistent though.

Have you tried reinstalling firefox or the lastest update(s)?

*Warning: THIS IS GROSS*

When you notice that the hair you pulled off the drain screen in the shower is in the shape of a paisley and you think, just for a split second, that you should take a picture and post it.  After all, you did make it.
3793  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Craftster Itself / Re: Is anyone else having this problem? "Black Hole" on: December 23, 2007 11:06:15 AM
I use firefox and always update it when notified and I haven't had that problem.  It got slower a few weeks ago, but that was also the time when I canceled by cable TV and only have cable internet.  I wonder if it's not the cable, but firefox now that I read this.

Another thing that happens is that sometimes the thumbnails won't change when I attempt to scroll through them, or I have to wait for it a few extra seconds.  Anyone else have this issue?

Interesting aside: now I can't even get local channels, no tv at all which means I use my internet more AND have more time for crafting.  It took some getting used to, but now I kind of love it.
3794  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Kleenex Cozies on: December 23, 2007 10:19:14 AM
I can see why those were well-received, they're adorable!

I too made purse sized tissue covers this year!

I actually overlapped the center opening by about a 1/4" to keep them covered a bit more, but otherwise the same.

They were so fast and easy.  I haven't given mine out yet... I'll let you know the results.

I've been thinking about making these and saw the pattern for the overlapped style, do the tissues still come out easily?

Awww!  Thanks.  It's a heckuva lotta work, but so fun and so appreciated.  Please post a pic of her using it after the holiday.  How are you hiding that, btw?

I love that!  I'd be so tempted to keep it around all the time with different things on it, depending on the season, even after the cats wrecked it.

Sweet!  I bet she's going to drive the heck out of that!  Specialty batteries are stupid-expensive, but that just makes it all the more like driving a real Jeep, what with gas prices as they are.  I reconned a Cozy Coupe (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=206494.0) and I'm just itchin to do another... you may have put me over the top.  Thanks for sharing!

Whoa.  You have some very well-dressed derby girls in Indianapolis.  And lucky, too.  I hope you post some of your others, because I'm sure many jerryleetypes fans in the crafter community would love to see them!

Sometime soon I plan on taking photos of my favorites and making a little online gallery but for now I have some of them documented on my Myspace page:

I guess I have to be a logged-in member to see it.  Poop!  I'll just have to be patient.  It'll be good practice.
