3791  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Re: ~She's Sew Crafty~... spoiler alert to Sewsew_a_gogo!!! on: May 30, 2008 05:42:42 PM
This is one truly adorable pillow!  I think your colors and placement are really great!  Of course, your stitches are always great.  As far as if she'll feel spoiled, it's hard to tell.  Maybe if we saw a few more pictures?  I kid, I kid.  She's so spoiled!
3792  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: butterfly bracelets on: May 29, 2008 05:22:04 PM

This is bitchin'!  Not only is it hilarious, it looks well constructed.  I'd love to see the back and bottom if you have such photos around.

3795  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: used as a stronger division than a comma (Reaction Update) on: May 29, 2008 11:03:46 AM
He loved them!  There was a bit of struggle at first as he was examining the fly side instead of the ; side (and I bet wondering WTF?), but once he saw the back he had to set them down to laugh and say "only you would think of this T".  YEY!
3796  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Keeping It Clean on: May 28, 2008 09:02:40 PM

Because I don't want my newly altered painters' pants (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=248069.msg2749394#msg2749394) to look like my altered on-the-job painters' pants (above) I made a little tool apron to wear to work.

There are 3 pockets for things like brushes, scrapers, sandpaper, etc. and the rings on the side are for hanging a rag (which will be the biggest help, as most of the paint on the pants is from wiping my hands) or hooking a 6" roller (see below) when I'm up on a ladder. It fastens with a couple of snaps on the side.

And an action shot as best I could manage myself in the weird kitchen light after dark.

3797  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Street Art with Yarn-First post and lots of pics! on: May 28, 2008 06:53:53 PM
That is beautiful!  Oh, how I wish I'd stumble upon something like that.  I bet something like it is being done in my city, but I haven't seen it.  I especially love the magnetized idea!

You've used those in such a brilliant way.  I love how you used the pins as some of the rain drops!  And I know from rain drops.
3799  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Toilet Paper Scarf! on: May 28, 2008 06:46:56 PM

I really like these!  I like how they are an obvious set, but not match-y match-y.  I struggle to get that and you nailed it!
