This is great. I also like the whole idea of using sweetie/chocolate moulds to make moulded cheese shapes. So much more useful as canapes. Bookmarked for the future. I'd also be grateful for any suggestions of other cheeses that could be moulded similarly. Would it work with any blue cheese?
I think what made this work is that it's a soft cheese, being at least half Camembert. I think brie and such would work well, too. Something that is soft at room temp, but holds it shape. I found NOTHING about doing this in my on online search. This mould is very shallow and I suspect that helped with getting it out of the mould, but haven't tried any of my deeper moulds. Yet!
