Brief Bio, News in Your Life, etc:
I have 2 young dogs, one born August 2010 and one born Sept 1011, they are "spoiled" like the grandchildren I'll never have.  The ManFlesh and I have moved to the Bitterroot Mountains in Montana, so I'm working on boho/rustic/industrial and non-80s decorating/remodeling projects.  I run a small business crafting and decorative painting business (just switched from a 6-year old decorative painting business).  I recycle whatever I can and try to reuse things before then.  Halloween is my favorite holiday, because it's the only one that's purely about fun.

Some things I notice that I could use, but aren't likely to get around to making for myself anytime soon: up to 2 coasters for my sewing/crafting/storage room (one for water, the other for coffee/beer/cocktail depending), weather worthy fairy doors.  I've started a collection of tiny houses through the Tiny House Swaps (though I like mine smaller than the 4x4x4 rule) and I collect foreign (outside the US) toothpaste & any alphabet books (art, educational and foreign language).

My Favorite Crafts To Do: Sewing, house-y stuff, stuff for kids & pets, stuff with a humorous slant like my Varmint Voodoo dolls and Hot Dishes pot holders. A bit of embroidery, painting and gluing. I love to make and wear costumes for any reasonable excuse. I love to make gruesome Halloween decorations, too. Lately making lots of things to redecorate the house the ManFlesh and I bought in the woods outside Missoula. I've done a few altered Altoid tins and Fisher Price Little People dioramas.
Crafts I Want To Learn: Resin casting, collage/assemblage, working on stretched canvas.

My Favorite Projects Made by Me:

Current and/or All Time Favorite Bands: I'm terrible at favorites and fandom and you won't likely find me crafting for a band, show, movie etc, but I admit it'd be hard to resist a Tom Jones craft.
Current and/or All Time Favorite Books: I do love me some Hitchhiker's Guide, but otherwise don't think I'd craft for books. Out of books, yes.
Current and/or All Time Favorite TV Shows: Our new home on this mountain can only receive TV via satellite. We don't watch enough TV to justify the expense so we use Roku & Netflix to watch movies and TV series. The older I get the less I can watch things with lots of tension or suspense or meanness.

Personal Swap Availability:
Interested in Doing Personal Swaps: yes

What I Could Make For You:
I can sew (not clothes much, but costumes/accessories, you betcha), napkins, pot holders, Varmints, boxer shorts, assort0ed other stuff. Lately I've been into making my own cloth tape/bias tape. I've been really enjoying making double-fold bias tape. I embroider, too. Can do architectural finishes on small decorative accessories and crafts. I've made a few altered tins for swaps and have started exploring assemblage because of them.

What I'd Like to Receive:
See my bio, contact me, check my pinterest. I can't crochet or knit, bead or do resin (yet). I don't have much room to display things, but have allowed myself a tiny house collection because I have a shadow box shelf for display. I'm really fascinated by faux taxidermy and have a faux deer (Mavis) and t-rex (Ramon) that could always used outfits or costumes. You can see them on my blog.
Likes And Dislikes For Potential Swap Partners Or Just For Fun:
Things I Love:
My pets, Bigfoot, sewing, trees, photography (especially photo journalism style), humor, reading/books, cool colors (esp. greens, blue-greens, and purples), faux bois, pine cones, vinyl, tools (power & hand), shrink plastic, anatomical/medical images, butcher charts, Halloween, leaves, house-shapes/images, periodic table of elements, good and bad puns (especially visual puns), carpinchos (capybaras), antlers, faux taxidermy, turkeys.

Dislikes, Pet Peeves, Allergies, etc:
Fear and loathing of centipedes, millipedes and horseshoe crabs. Also earwigs [shiver]. Sometimes birds give me the heebie jeebies which is challanging as they are popular, but that's also helped me get mostly over it. Not into pink, yellow (look awful in yellow, orange or yellow-greens), keychains, plushies, too cutesie, impressionism, of course there are always exceptions. I don't cook, but sometimes I bake. No kawaii for me, please!
