Okay here are the first 5, with the hip measurements....i will also note if i have any of that fabric left to make another like it if you want

please PM me with your 3 choices, and remember, i am still going to post 5 more (at this rate by friday not sunday)

**i am REALLY into the deconstructed look lately, so 3/5 of these are done that way, and all of the next 5 will be that way**

example (poor) of deconstructed stitching:

TEA PARTY tie measurement 82 inches, i have more of the roses, but no more stripes claimed by dharma_rebel

SUMMERTIME tie measurement 75 inches, i have a similiar print that would work, and i can make the popsicles from scraps, if you want me to make it, let me know, and how long you want the ties claimed by aisy (but i can make another similiar if someone wants that)

GARDEN PARTY tie measurement 118 inches, i have no more of either print claimed by Troublet

***MICKEYS MOVED TO NEW POST***

**each apron is lined (no raw fabric showing) and the pockets are lined aswell
**most are 20-22 inches across, and 18-19 inches long

okay, this is the apron i made for last years 12 days swap, and only a folded up shot, but i will have new pictures by the 1st (of at least 4 or 5 of the aprons, i have time lol)

i am so excited i get to participate this round, plus i LOOOVE sewing, so 10 aprons are going to be a blast...a few will be holiday themed (red/white/green/gold or silver) but i have a decent fabric stash, so there will be lots to choose from

8  Re: Love your wedding? Then show off your photos here! in Weddings and Bridal Showers by MissDisney on: November 15, 2009 03:53:57 AM
when you decide to get married in a week you better live somewhere where you can get married anytime you want (i.e. vegas baby)

so not to bore you with the whole shebang, i will simplify:

-toothache
-expensive extraction needed
-need to be married to be on his insurance
-already planned on tying the knot eventually
-lets get married in 7 days!

its not the fanciest (and the photos look about 20 yrs old cos i had a crappy disposable to work with) but i loved my wedding (but i am getting a do-over eventually, hopefully)

7 days, 500 dollars (the actual ceremony was somewhere in the 350 dollar range including the license)...and tada!
my dress was pale gold and his tie matches (both for under 50 dollars)

i decorated the cake, but then they cut it before we got there (my lil sister was about 16, and had no idea about how a wedding reception should go)...we bought all the decor for about 30 dollars, and the food for another 50 (including the cake, which i bought at albertsons and had them frost very plainly so i could decorate it)

our first kiss

and the whole wedding party!

we just celebrated 5 yrs on Oct 16th....

Details of swap:

The idea is to make one tiny holiday (be it Christmas, X-Mas, Hannukah, Kwanzaa, Yule or any other winter holiday in December or close to it) Disney themed craft item. It should be physically small (miniatures are encouraged) and should be something that you can craft with a high level of skill. Even if it is a fairly simple/easy item for you to make, please embellish or perfect it so that it best represents your skill. (For example, if you wish to make a coin purse, I encourage you to embroider, add beading, or take other steps to make it a really special piece.)

You can have up to 2 partners. You may only send each partner ONE tiny craft - "extras" are not allowed in this swap. All items should be 5x5  or smaller. The idea behind this swap is to give you a simple, low-pressure craft swap that won't stress you out or cost a lot to ship.

How do you know if your idea is "tiny?" Examples: A coin purse is tiny; a clutch purse is not. A pair of earrings is tiny; a necklace, earrings, and bracelet set is not. A trinket box is tiny; a recipe box is not. An ATC (artist trading card) is tiny; a full-size drawing is not. (If you're not sure if your idea qualifies as "tiny," ask me!)

This swap is short but sweet, and always a ton of fun!
If you want to participate, information to send to organizer:
