Did you drink all the cans yourself or did you have to enlist some help lol?

I sent a few of my friends tiny little scrapbooks with just a few pages in them ... like 3x3 and using only paper for embellishment so it would keep flat ... but they take a fair bit of time.

I have also made collages or digital scrapbook pages in photoshop in a 4x6 size and just printed them at one of those instant machines. Kind of like photos to stick on the wall but a little bit more detailed.

Also, I would illustrate my letters storybook style (particularly hilarious cause I can't draw!). ie. 'We got a new cat *insert stick figure cat picture*' or emphasise certain words by doing them big, coloured, different font etc.

Try stamping stores maybe? I have a feeling it used to be sold by some in the same way they sell embossing powder?

Good luck.

Lol  Grin I read the title to this thread and though 'A slingshot organiser?? How many slingshots does one person own??' but then I opened it and that is a really cool idea!! I wanna try one now but I have such a small attention span that I'd probably pike sometime in February!
305  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / AUSTRALIA / Re: where to buy blank tees on: June 09, 2007 10:07:33 AM
Try Rivers [url]http://www.rivers.com.au/stores/find.asp[/url.

If you can, try to get to a super store ... you should find racks and racks of good quality, plain t-shirts in a variety of styles (round neck, v neck, singlet, polo, boat neck etc) and a rainbow of colours and all for $4-$8.

A hidden gem if I ever saw one...
306  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / AUSTRALIA / Re: Shrinky Dinks in Australia? on: June 09, 2007 09:57:59 AM
Stamping stores are the most likely to have it in my experience ... like someone else posted, I got mine at a craft fair but it was a stamping stall.

If you have a permenant ink pad you can stamp on the shrink plastic.
I have a set of 8 coloured permenant markers that I bought specifically for this purpose (had to hunt around to find a pack that big but I think there is a pack of mini coloured sharpies in Officeworks?).

Also, Shrinky Dink is a brand name so try searching for Shrink Plastic instead.

They're pretty expensive so I don't get to play with them as much as I'd like ... I'd love to try to the number 6 plastic thing!!
307  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / AUSTRALIA / Re: Marble magnet stuff in Australia on: June 09, 2007 09:50:15 AM
I couldn't find any marbles that I liked so I ended up using Glossy Accents * and did 3-4 coats. I just stuck the picture straight to the magnet.

I also found the round chunky magnets but where is escaping me at the moment ... Spotlight maybe?

*Glossy Accents is that glue/sealant that turns hard, clear and 3D when it dries. What do we call it in Australia? Glassy effects, or dimensional something...
