1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Pacifier Earrings on: July 10, 2007 05:29:03 PM
I bought a bunch of these pacifiers for my son's christening favors but I stashed them away and totally forgot to use them!  So now I only have about a hundred of these.

So what to do?

Earrings!

2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Funky bat necklace on: July 10, 2007 07:35:54 AM
So I've been wanting to make a necklace using these chains I bought for the longest time!  I made black bats for my stepdaughter and now here are the colored ones!
Made from shrinky dinks.

In 4 colors

I tried applying mica powders onthem to give it some sheen but that didn't work out.  So I just left them as is after baking..

Thanks for looking!

So I fell in love with these colors but didn't realize that the big jump rings are sooo big!  So what to do?  Hoop them together!  I love how they turned out.  And so easy to put together!

And the matching earrings

And of course, matching tin case  Tongue

Shrinky dinked then embossed - they really are shiny with nice lacquer on it but the pics don't show it...
