Wow, looks great! Fabulous color on you, too. You could totally be a model!

Thanks!

Goldfish... I bet your hubby wouldn't mind if you made one of his shirts into something like this for you... you know? ;-)

Nothing's too cute to wear to bed! But I just got a couple more shirts that I plan on making into minidresses or something like this, but not as sleepwear.

Thanks all! And 6 months later, it's still my favorite nightie.

I'm thinking of making another soon, since Threadless is having a sale and I can get great shirts for super cheap!

Thank you!

Good luck Betsyann, hope you post the results when you're done!

Fruity, I might do something like to another shirt and do just that!

I'd love to explain my technique, but it would be a huge lie to call it that. I don't even know what I did - I just pinned and sewed frantically when I had a shape I liked...it's really a mess of thread and knots under that button!

haha, fair enough!
6  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Top is pieced... questions about batting! on: October 02, 2007 06:40:54 AM
Thanks, hyper!  It should also make you feel better that a lot of these tees had been ruined in some way - they got a hole or a stain, or were printed slightly off, etc.

Those look very cool!

That looks sweet! I have a few tees that I've been wanting to recon because they're too short... this will go in my file of recon ideas!

Thank you! Smiley

Turtle - yeah, my husband LOVES when I wear this... but it was actually super easy to make!

A friend wants me to make one for her, so if I ever get around to it I'll try to take pics of the step-by-step process and post a tute.
