Yeah, the background glass is this weird iridescent business (I call it "oil spill glass")

I was making it for my stepmom, and when she saw the glass I picked out, she was less than pleased about the background, but thankfully, she just took my word for it, and I think it turned out quite nicely.

So I thought that it would be a good idea to learn how to do stained glass. And while it was a blast, it almost killed me.

I unstuffed his whole body. Which was VERY easy, but VERY sad. I don't much enjoy dismantling animals. I'm thinking that teenie beanie babies would work too, in case anyone has those laying around.

So I lost the adorable pink cover to my jump drive on my keychain. I didn't want it to go harmed, so I was browsing sites for new covers I could buy when I saw one that had a teddy bear cover! Unfortunately, the site was in French and I doubt, for sale.
So I made my own

I have worn them, and they are surprisingly comfy. I cut them low around the ankles so they wouldn't rub (I think I have low ankles  ) and they fit like a glove. I've decided against bias tape because 1. I don't have any laying around the house and 2. i couldn't find any online that would match the shoes that I could pick up in town. So I am going to file them and lacquer (gotta love clear nailpolish)  once I get back (Leaving for NY soon! eee!) and I'll post new pics
