1  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: Eyeliner Tut *crap load of crappy pics to go along* on: February 06, 2009 01:31:42 AM
Thanks, nice tut - I'm horrible with liquid eyeliner!

I know it's not my tute (great eyelinercolor by the way <3) but I've recently had some lessons at being a makeupartist for stage (can't find the right english word) and I've found the KEY to practicing liquid eyeliner:

Do it on someone else!

I've never been able to do it myself, up until the day I had to do it on someone else. Then it all started to make sense Wink and now I can finally do it.

3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Simple black bags with dotted lining. on: February 04, 2009 02:04:33 PM

I had some cool fabric lying around, but wasn't sure about what to do with it. Yesterday I finally got some inspiration. The outcome of my inspiration was a simple black rib-fabric (corduroy) bag. After I made the first (small) bag, I decided to make one more. I still have some of the fabric lying around, so I'm planning on making one or two more. I love them!

They are both double stitched. I do have an overlockmachine, but it's at my parents, so I couldn't lock them. That's why I double-stitched them on my regular machine.  The small one has a rounded bottom, the larger one has a flat bottom. The strap is a double-layered strap made of the black corduroy on which I attached some buttons by hand. These are the first bags I ever made, so comments or feedback are very welcome! Smiley

Thaaanks for all your sweet comments <33

i heart dress too!!  Shocked

is the black at the bottom an underskirt? or attached to the dress? x

It's an underskirt. A huge petticoat I bought at a store that my friend owns. I make petticoats myself, but this one is HUGE and it was easier to buy one. It's great, because it fits under every dress I own Cheesy

great job!
that fabric is fabulous Smiley where on earth did you find it?
