I just wanted to share these. I found them in a box of my stuff from years ago, they originally belonged to my favorite aunt. At the time she gave them to me they would have been too big but I sure am glad I stashed them away!
I made this for my brand new niece who was born on November 11. The pattern is from Martha Stewart: http://www.marthastewart.com/article/baby-kimonos I used some fabric from my stash and made the bias from a remnant. It's kind of hard to see but there is red in the main fabric. I like to make the bias, I think it's easier to work with than the pre-packaged kind.
Anyone in Houston know of a reliable sewing machine repair shop? I work in the downtown area and live in the Hobby area so preferably something on the S/SE side. I know the place my work uses is good and they're in the Heights but I'd like to see if I can find someplace closer to home.
