1  found me some cute vintage patterns in Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Discussion and Questions by naggie_maggie on: March 13, 2009 07:13:36 PM
I just wanted to share these.
I found them in a box of my stuff from years ago, they originally belonged to my favorite aunt. At the time she gave them to me they would have been too big but I sure am glad I stashed them away!

2  Re: Fill a mug Round 4 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by naggie_maggie on: January 31, 2009 05:58:31 PM
my awesome package from pinupmommy:
the whole thing:

pretty mug and yummy teas. I really like this mug, it reminds me of a good friend of mine who I never get to see because she lives in NYC.

fabric headband, cute kawaii pouch, crocheted key chain, yummy candy and a cute fish soap.
stitch markers, cute knitting needle point covers and some pretty homespun.

super cute needle book and some pretty pins just like the ones on my wist!

beautiful blue beaded jewelry. two necklaces, pretty earrings and a really cool charm.
a bunch of awesome cricut letters and shapes. some for me and some for the kids.

cute buttons! I especially like the fabric covered ones.

oh and a cute key cell phone charm that somehow didn't get photographed so I'll add it in a bit.

can I just say WOW. thank you so much pinupmommy, you totally spoiled me and I feel very lucky to have had you for a partner on this swap.

here are all my bookmarks:

from spotnik

The ribbon is so pretty and I really like the design a lot.

from franaroon

I've never had a bookmark like this one, it's cool. Where did she find such thin magnets?

from Belladune

How did she know I love shoes and shrinky dinks?

from gossamer_gull

I love collage!  My boyfriend spotted the Mass Pike thingy right away 'cause he used to live in Massachusetts.

I love all my new bookmarks! This swap was a lot of fun. Grin

4  Re: Once You Pop Rd9 - HOLIDAY GALLERY! in The Swap Gallery by naggie_maggie on: December 28, 2008 09:26:48 AM
I'm gonna go ahead and post some pics of what I sent Corwin. Apparently I forgot to take a picture of the can. phooey.

fleece mice for her kitties

dish cloth

shrinky dink ornaments of images from vintage holiday cards

felt ornaments

holiday apron

I love that we both sent items with rick rack: my can and her apron. mmmmm... rick rack....
This swap was so much fun, I'm so glad I picked it for my first!

Finally posting pics of my goodies from Corwin!

The can is covered in sparkly snowflakes, and how did she know I love rick rack?

Pretty blue and silver ornaments! I don't know if you can see it but there's glitter on the blue snowflake ornament too. mmmm... glitter...

Another view of the sequined poinsettia ornaments. I love this kind of ornament but do not have the patience to put all those sequins and pins on so I was excited to get these!

Other goodies: yummy candy, pencil with Santa triplet erasers and, one of my favorite things to give and receive, shrinky dinks!

I don't think I left anything out but I can't be 100% sure because my boyfriend's kids got into the can before I took pictures. I'm lucky they didn't eat the candy!

Thank you Corwin!

6  kimono for a baby girl in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by naggie_maggie on: November 25, 2008 11:19:35 AM
I made this for my brand new niece who was born on November 11.
The pattern is from Martha Stewart:

I used some fabric from my stash and made the bias from a remnant. It's kind of hard to see but there is red in the main fabric. I like to make the bias, I think it's easier to work with than the pre-packaged kind.

7  tiny Joker in Halloween Costumes by naggie_maggie on: November 01, 2008 11:49:26 PM
My boyfriend's son insisted on being the Joker and I insisted on making his costume.
I made the jacket, pants, vest and tie.

not the most original, but pretty darn cute.
It earned me multiple high-fives from the teenagers across the street so I felt like a cool future step-mommy.
