The siamese cat looks washed out because of the flash, but I asure you she's not blue! Her name is Agata and her "friend" is Gato Cuyano.
They're made of foam and fabric, the eyes are painted ping pong balls cut in half.

It's like the feline version of "The lady and the tramp" Wink

oh wow i'm pretty amazed. I just love the earth-ware to it. I would like to do this for my herbs! All I have right now is oregano and I haven't tried drying it yet. This should motivate me make one.

Sure! I would love to see more boxes for drying herbs Smiley

These are quite lovely!  I really like your cut-out imagery.  It motivates me to dry the herbs that are gathering in the apartment patio garden Smiley

Thank you!
It's great that you have herbs to dry, I love gardening!

Oh Wow...I love them both!!! (But especially love the box!)

Your own design or did you use a stencil???

The design was taken from a book of ancient images, filled with drawings and art of pre columbian cultures. It's a "copy" from there, I didn't do it with an stencil though.
I'm glad you liked it! Smiley

Hi there! I've been posting like crazy today, I find sundays very boring (you know, in Argentina Sundays are for watching soccer  Roll Eyes )
This a box made of red clay for drying herbs and a little vase to go along with it and look cute in the kitchen Wink

I haven't try them out yet becuase they were baked just a couple of days ago, but I'm sure they will be useful somehow.

Wow, those are beautiful.  How big are they? What kind of finish/glaze did you use?  I love the grays and surface texture.  What are you plans for all of them?

They're about 30 cm tall. They were exhibit last June in San Juan, Argentina, with other artist drawings and live popular argentinean music. One of them was sold (kind of, still pending) and a four were given as a gift.
Sorry if I can't explain myself properly, my first language is Spanish and I don't know some words and materials  Embarrassed
This is how they looked in the exhibition:

As you can see, they're not too big, I wish I could post all of them big, they have very expressive faces!
