i have a question. i'm wondering what type of batting is suitable for baby's quilt? i recently bought a polyester fiber batting.. not sure whether it's suitable though. i found out there are cotton batting, wool batting etc.. what's the difference between all these ya?

thanks in advance.

3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / purple top. =) on: May 15, 2008 10:53:11 AM
so here's a purple top i made recently.. i dont know.. im not really good at sewing tops or dresses or any garments.. it always turns out a bit sloppy..but i just wanna share this with all of you.. might have ideas or comments that'll make it better..

before i add the sleeves.

actually, i want to add puffy sleeves.. but i got headache while doing it. LOLs. so i just cancelled the puffy sleeves.. n just made the ordinary-normal-typical sleeves.. *sigh*..

it looks like the sleeves are not really well done.. so i thought pairing the top with a bolero would b nice..

hehe. thanx for looking.  Grin
comments n critics are welcome, as always.  Wink

7  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / jumper becomes tote bag on: April 24, 2008 04:32:34 AM
i made a bag. like a tote bag, pleated tote bag...(i made pleats for the jumper actually) the fabric was actually a pareo, but then i turned it out into some kind like jumper, or some people call it pinafore. however, i found out that it's quite small for me (i mistakenly measured my own size, duh~), so i sew the jumper's bottom line and transformed it into this bag. LOL~

the fabric

i adjusted both corners at the dotted line. it was like that previously. but i guess making curves are better..

so.. what do u guys say?  Smiley
