I am a soon to be 40 year old. I am holding on to 39 as long as I can. I have always looked young for my age. I have a hard time trying to find some decent looking church clothes. My problem...it's too old....too young...too long...too short or just plain too ugly. I hate shopping for myself!!!  I usually grab "whatever" for myself and end up shopping for my girls instead. I can usually find something for them although too many stores sell outfits that look alike and are trying to dress little twelve and eight year olds like teenagers. 

::)Oh~ My~ Gosh...I LOVE the pink/brown color combination!! I have made several bags and I think pink/brown is my favorite. I also like aqua/brown, chartreuse/brown and light blue/brown. Great Bag!!

  Hi All,
I just finished this messenger bag. ~Whew~ I make tote bags for sale on eBay but this is my first attempt at a messenger bag. I used coordinating Amy Butler fabrics. I machine quilted the strips. The front and back is the same. I also added some vintage aqua and brown chenille. The brown chenille was hand dyed by me. The bag has a decorative mother of pearl button. At first, I made the flap too short. It was a pain to unstitch the top part of the bag...I became too familiar with that darn seam ripper!! Overall I think it came out so/so. I don't like the flap, I think it leaves a gap between straps. I'm not sure what I did wrong. I'll be more careful next time. My 12 year-old daughter wants a smaller one for back-to-school she may have to wait a bit!!
P.S. I LOVE this website!!!!!!

Oh wow...that is really cool. I had no idea you could buy iron on vinyl. I've been thinking about making a bag with black and white pictures of my kids...thanks for the inspiration!!
