I re-did my hair last night.  It's not as green as in the pics

2  Re: Winter Postcard Gallery in The Swap Gallery by cadillac.tramp on: December 11, 2007 07:03:02 AM
Yay I had mail yesterday!  Thanks for makin my day, ladies.
My card from snark-it's little critter!  I got the biggest grin cause I used to read the books when I was a wee one.

I hope it flipped right, I can't quite get the hang of the craftster image rotation.
And my card from cookiemaker...buttons! How did you know?  But the mailman took one to fix his uniform (it must be, cause one is missing. That or the Button Faerie)
Side A

and Side B with the purtyful ribbon and buttons

I'm hoping I get the others in the mail today, they really make me smile after putting up with grouchy customers. Thanks again to my wonderful partners!!

I don't have any pictures of the naaaasty blue/black/grey/brown my hair was turning after a few weeks of letting La Feria Starry Night fade out, I HAD to strip my hair.

4  Little pink rose in Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Completed Projects by cadillac.tramp on: August 11, 2007 07:34:14 PM
Ok, so I just got housing (military, moved to a new base) last week.  They told me I can do whatever I want as to gardening, YAY!  There was this pitiful rose bush that hadn't been pruned in forever and was in baaaad shape, so I decided to take charge and make her healthy.
Dh  deleted the pictures of the rose bush before I saved it from its un-tended self, so all I have is the picture of this really pretty bright pink rose bud that came into full bloom today, yay!

5  Space Cowboy rocket ship toddler shirt in Sublime Stitching Embroidery by cadillac.tramp on: July 02, 2007 08:05:51 AM
So I decided to try my hand at the AWESOME designs in the back of my Sublime Stitching book (which I'm in love with).  I drew on the letters free hand with a black eyeliner.  It's not that great, this is the first thing I've embroidered in oh, 14 years.  Anyway, without further delay...

The rocket!

Ok, so the "c" is a lil wonkey...

action shot! for some reason the flash only went off in this one

So dh and I got bored and decided to use the rest of the contact paper I had from trying to make a playing card tote... He did most of the work, I helped with placement.  And ofcourse, I forgot before pics.

closer view of top half

and the bottom half

It's not as blue as the flash makes it seem...smarty pants me had it on the wrong light setting.

8  Help! Sides for Playing Card tote in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions by cadillac.tramp on: June 18, 2007 02:21:20 PM
Ok, so I had a deck, and contact paper, so I *had* to try to make one, and winged it...and now I'm stuck.
I can't figure out how to do the sides so they fit the bottom properly

I tried looking at some tutes but I just confused myself more.
And cutting down the bottom card and folding it up won't work, I tried that on some extras and it didn't pan out.
So if anyone could help me figure out what to do, I'd really appreciate it.

Yay for weird hair!  I need to scan the pics I have of when I had my hawk...for now it's bleh and inbtwn stages, but here's what I've gone through.

The last round of dye...all dark fuschia and purple on the bottom

the short red and black

before I hacked it off even shorter (it wasn't All Hallows, I was going to a Rezurex concert)

I miss my long hair Sad

the Devil Lock (was going to Misfits concert!)...it was just the hawk slicked forward

And my all black long hair with Betty bangs
