21  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Magazines on: January 22, 2011 07:29:35 PM
What I use magazines for with my papercraft is as a work surface. I do all the cutting, gluing, etc, then when the page I'm on gets sticky and messy, I just rip it off and use the next.
22  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Ongoing ATC swap discussion thread--3.0 on: January 22, 2011 04:17:00 PM
Love this swap. It always inspires me to go outside my comfort zone with ATCs. Also, the things I like to create aren't necessarily the only things I like to look at, so I love to receive beautiful ATCs that I would never make myself.

I just made my first claim. For a Doctor Who themed ATC. I'm not even a huge fan of the show, but I have an awesome idea in mind, hope it's well-received!

I'm a 19-year-old philosophy major living in California, USA. I'm up for anything with ATCs, I love them all.

Here's a great website with some interesting blog entries and a ton of tutorials.

25  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Turning a dark green shirt to a khaki/olive drab color? on: October 16, 2010 08:37:52 PM
So I dyed a white shirt, trying to match it to a green khaki cargo-type skirt. I bought some dylon dye in the color "olive". The color they showed on the package matched the skirt exactly but the shirt turned out way too GREEN. Just like... Dark but vibrant, not olive drab color. Is there a way I can fix this and make it the right color?

Wow, that stuff is great! I love it all, especially the cute little cutsew, I'd wear it every day!

I received my package from lauralyn and I'll be posting pictures in here as soon as I can get some taken, my camera's not working so well so I'll probably have to borrow my mom's or a friend's XD
