I'm insanely jealous! I make art pieces with crayons. Here's an example:


Craftster image hosting rotated the photo for some reason but you get the idea.... I hot-glued the crayons to a canvas then heated them with a heat gun.

This is a swap for fans of Lolita fashion and similar styles.
Check out this cute page on Lolita for a little information on the different styles. Other styles like himegyaru are welcome as well, just make sure you let your partner know a bit about the style. :]

This will be a 6 point swap with the additional requirement that you MUST include at least one large or medium item. No package should contain 6 small items! A large item is 3 points, medium is 2 points, and small is 1 point.

Basic guidelines for item size are:

Indeed they are.
I drew this partially because I love giraffes, and partially to help the effort at One Million Giraffes, a website where a dude is trying to collect one million (hand-made or drawn) giraffes by 2011. You should make one too, I want him to reach his goal. :]
Anyway, here is my giraffe. I drew it with a few different pencils on really cheap paper. XD

I love everything in both my packages. I was so pleased to receive them. They each contained things I love, things I've wanted, and things I never thought about but I now can't wait to use. Thank you so so much, dinkime and nessie. I hope you guys liked my packages as much!

By the way, does anyone else have the feeling that they just don't want to cut into all this lovely stuff to start altering? I kind of just want to stare at it all day (even though I need to finish up my inchies for the inchie swap and this could be useful! haha).

Here are my inchies from hahnasay. I love them! The lighting in my room is complete crap, though, so I'll try to get a better picture in some natural light another time.

I'm not sure that anything I could make would be good enough for this swap...I am primarily an ATC-maker.

I was thinking flower headbands, but as imafundork is already offering flower hairclips I'm not sure that would be ok. Of course my flowers are quite different, felt with a button center, and they would be on headbands rather than clips....

thoughts? especially from imafundork, as I wouldn't want to steal your idea!

ETA: here's a (rather poor quality--sorry, no light right now!) picture of what I mean. Is it sufficiently different?

I found a "backstreet boys" spiral notebook in my old stuff, and I was excited because it hadn't been written in! The cover would not do, though, so I removed the wire and changed it into a pretty distressed journal.

And After I finished, I realized I'd made it so the paper was upside-down! Oops! I don't mind, though. Here's a view of that, and how I aged the edges of the pages.
