141  Zombie Table in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by pennydreadfull on: June 14, 2007 07:00:16 AM
I went to Michael's last week and this table was on sale for $5!! So of course I had to buy it!  I decided to paint it like a zombie, I still have to polyurethane it and then it's gonna go on our porch!
The color is really more like the picture of the table top, the picture of the leg is alot brighter b.c of the flash I guess.

142  Tampon Carriers in Completed Projects by pennydreadfull on: June 14, 2007 06:54:30 AM
After seeing all the tampon cozies on here I decided I really need one, and of course my sister wanted one too.  I made hers Monday night and mine Tuesday.  So here they are, the leopard print one is mine and the blue is jessie's.  We're both really happy with them!  Oh and I added a little pocket on the back for pantyliners!

143  Test Chainsaw Cake in Dessert by pennydreadfull on: June 14, 2007 06:47:59 AM
I got the idea from this thread
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=166811.0

My boyfriend's birthday is next friday, the 22nd and he loves texas chainsaw massacre and evil dead, etc. so I decided to make him a bloody chainsaw cake!  Luckily my sister went to culinary school and was able to help me out.  This isnt the cake that I'm going to give Mike, this was just a practice cake to see if what I wanted to do was actually do-able.  I think it turned out pretty good.  I had originally wanted a foot with no shoe on and have some of the toes severed as well but...that didnt turn out as well as I would have liked so we decided next time we're gonna make it a shoe and just have the stump be all bloody....Im pretty happy with the rest of the cake and just wanted to see if anyone else had any opinions or suggestions..oh and we are adding a handle onto the cake, we just didnt have enough room on the pan we were working on, Im getting a longer one for next week!
