1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Emily Dickinson Necklace!! on: November 23, 2008 08:30:19 AM
I love this necklace... but I'm not so willing to cough up the $70 for it cause it's terribly overpriced.
Any tips on how to go about making it?

3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / RUCHED CAP SLEEVES! on: July 12, 2008 07:26:26 PM
Hello fellow craftsters.

So for my first recon, I'm trying to make a shirt that looks like THIS '

(pardon my rather caveman-esque MS Paint rendition)

have cap sleeves that look like THIS

http://www.paigepremiumdenim.com/store/productimages/regular/29255204_fuschia.jpg

but I have no idea how to go about doing it.

Help?

By the way, the original shirt is a long sleeved, thin, cotton blouse with some gold sequined embellishments on the front. The two "strings" that appear to be coming out of the sides are actually two strips of the cotton that start at the sides and tie at the back and they have gold beading at the ends.
