A couple years ago, we transformed my oldest son's room.  See it here.



This week we decided we were going to transform my youngest son's room.  We knew we wanted to do Spongebob and at first we had thought we'd do the whole room yellow and make it look like Spongebob did when he was the padded room to Mrs. Puff's insanity in "Doing Time".  Then we decided we'd just do one wall yellow and as Spongebob, and then do the other walls blue for the ocean and put jellyfish on them.  THEN my hubby decided that we should sand the popcorn stuff off the ceiling, paint it bright yellow and have the ceiling be Spongebob and all the walls be the ocean. 

I don't think he realized just how much work that would be.  But he did do all the sanding and all the painting of the walls.  Then I walked in and painted the jellyfish, Spongebob's face, and plankton!

FINISHED!! YAY! I do have to find some curtain type thing.  The boys are awful about grabbing curtains on the way up the ladder to the top bunk, though, so it is hard to put something there without it getting trashed.

I made this little snake thing and was going to "drop it" for The Toy Society, but my friend's son came over and loved it so much, that I had to send it home with him.

This is a teddy bear that I made up for my son for school on “Teddy Bear Day”. I wanted to make it large enough to be a cuddle bear at bedtime, but small enough to fit into his backpack for school. I made this in one evening, because I had forgotten all about the teddy bear day. Yeah .... I always seem to do stuff like that.  LOL, so I was up until 2:30am crocheting!!

For Christmas this year, my hubby and I decided to craft our boys and our nephews a hockey table and some guns. 
We used this pattern for the guns, but decided not to do them as space guns.  We used this (pdf) pattern for the hockey table.

The kids LOVED everything!!   Totally went crazy over them.   Yay!

I finished this one tonight.  Not sure who I'm going to give it to ... I really have no one on my list for it, but I needed a break from my Christmas crafting.  I realized that I have quite a few that I never photographed.  How aggravating is that?  But here are the ones I have ..... Thanks for looking!

Every year I make my nephews Christmas ornaments.  I try to center the ornament around a theme of their life that year, or something they've really been into.  This year, for my 10yo nephew, I made a Union soldier from the Civil War.  He is all about war strategy and reading books on the civil war.  (Weird, I know ... but he takes after his awesome aunt (ME!)).  For my other nephew I did Mickey Mouse.  He's 4 and is obsessed with the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse cartoon.

I made them with tinfoil all crumpled into a ball, then built up sculpy around them.  Why do I have multicolored sculpy?  Well.. my precious boys combined my black, hot pink and white together, that's why! LOL

I scored a HUGE tub of fabric at a yardsale for dirt cheap.  All of the pieces have at least 1 yard, if not 5-20 yards on them!!  There was some beautiful linen, beautiful cottons, great dress material, suede, corduroy, and tons more.  I love sooooo much of it and have big plans for most of it.
What I'm totally clueless on, though, is this major 80's fabric I ended up with.  The only thing that is coming to me is Hammer Pants and old lady mumus.  Please, please, please give me some ideas on what to do with this fabric.  Some of it is knit, some woven ... some of it is super thick upholstery type stuff.
