The ears just stayed up when I sewed them in place-no starch or hairspray needed but I think you could if they didn't...
yarn used: Tove by Sandnesgarn only 50 gr. and used little of it...picked up discount skein somewhere...
pattern from Debbie Bliss Toy Knits book called small rabbit with "sweater", and yes am working on his sweater
both backpack and eggs are Alan Dart patterns

awesome job, and speedy as mag. has not been out that long...really love that color. I would wear it myself even as looks so comfy, but very nice gift too.
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: kitty santa hat, strange but true on: November 22, 2007 09:09:52 PM
the reason they look so good on their heads is I had to take many shots with camera. there are several others that are good too, but too many and well, these  2 are enough. it was fun, plan to try some more, the witches hat was my favorite so far...will post tomorrow or Sat as a free tut...thank goodness I wrote it down as I went.

my absolutely favorite part of designing hats for my cats, is to capture that special expression they have when wearing them.
pattern is all mine, fits a small teddy bear nicely, if you don't dress your cats.
Here's the pattern for the hat:
