I've passed on your lovely comments to Madeline, and shes now lying on the sofa with her legs in the air in a very unladylike manner. I think she fancies Jasper.


Eeee I can't wait for Jadore-Le-Rose to get mine, I hope she likes everything, I always worry my skill level is way below par on these things. My key skill is baking and cake decorating, its my job, so any other craft I do I worry isn't my greatest strength!

Holy moly, I have been so incredibly lucky! My partner is incredibly generous, and I'm so pleased with my loot! My boyfriend and his neice were around when I was unwrapping it and both were really impressed with the goodies!

Something related to your favourite musician/band...
CDs of Regina Spektor and Tori Amos, neither of these I have heard much before, but I have to say I am really loving them now I have them! Particularly Regina Spektor, which is Lauras favourite!



My favourite fabric...
Laura tells me in her notes that she this is her favourite fabric and she didn't have much left but wanted to sew me a bag as they're her favourite things to sew! Let me tell you Laura, I LOVE both the bag and the fabric. I adore crafted bags and this is very special. *hughughug*



Something made with yarn...
Waaah bring on winter, I'm ready for yer! Laura didn't know this, but I love scarves of all varieties. This is perfect, and also matches a hat I have!




My favourite craft supply/tool...
Both Laura and I are really into magazines, and this magazine she sent will be very useful when I next have a season of crazed beading, as I often do in November, for reasons unknown to me. Maybe its instinctive. Like hibernating.



Something relating to your pets...
Both Laura and I have a cat, mine is called Artemis and Lauras is called Cookie, and we both love 'catty' stuff! Laura included this beautiful bag that she picked up at a local craft fair to represent Cookie. I adore it!



My favourite jewellery item...
Laura loves cameo jewellrey and charm bracelets and made me these beautiful items! She must have worked her little butt off because they're gorgeous!! Very nearly lost them to Chloe, my boyfriends niece.




Something that helps me stay organised...
Laura made a craft apron for herself recently and found that it was very useful, so she made one for me! Laura, you gem! I love aprons, I work all darn day in the kitchen with all manner of tools, and this is so ideal for my every day work in the bakery.



Something I collect...
Laura collects Russian Dolls and stationary, so this combo nailed this catagory! I love note cards with a passion, so this has gone into my writing draw to join my card stash, glitter pens, stamps and address book just begging to be used.



Something related to my favourite book...
Lauras favourite book is Alice in Wonderland - BINGO! I love Alice. Earlier this year I arranged myself a Wonderland Tea Party for my birthday but had to cancel as no one could come. But these gorgeous post cards totally make up for it, and they're going into frames in the bathroom



Something local...
A few leaflets of some local attractions, plus some pretty goodies from local craft fairs and such. <3 Butterflies and leopard priiiint. <3





Something in your favourite colour...
Laura is a fiend for pastel blue and pinks, and put together this gorgeous wall art piece which i am so impressed with. Its gorgeous, and totally my thing. Our guest bedroom is pink currently, and is going through a refurb, so this is going to look gorgeous in there when its all complete!

Hi all! I recieved my lovely apron from frosty772 yesterday, just moments before I ran out the door with all my produce for a small stall I was holding with my bakery out on a rainy day in the middle of a field for an event, so took it with me and though Tammy (frosty772) would like to see it in action!

Cor blimey, work has been mental. Got back Sunday night from taking the stall to a festival having worked solidly for a week for it, then had to go away yesterday for a birthday do and have got 2 more big bookings this week but I think I'll get it all done and sent by the 6th. Just one of those things, isn't it!

Picked up a goodie yesterday at the birthday do at a water park gift shop I can't wait to craft for my partner! I'm dedicating from 5pm onwards tonight for it to make it gloriously lovely.

I haven't recieved my apron yet but we have just had a bank holiday, so I'm not surprised! Looking forward to seeing it. I believe Starmumplus did recieve my package though photos aren't up, but they're stash mostly so not to worry.
