1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Missing a page from Noro book: "Tabachin" pattern on: May 05, 2008 05:28:59 PM
It's a Cornelia Tuttle Hamilton, Book 4, photographed in Mexico. Several pages are blank!! (pp. 36,37,40,41) The only thing I'm dying to make is the bell-sleeve sweater "Tabachin."  I have page 42, which gives directions for the back, sleeves, and neck edging. Can anyone help me find the missing parts from page 41?

Thanks!
2  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Discussion and Questions / Anyone made Very Baby's "Sleep Dry pants?" on: December 03, 2007 09:08:42 PM
I am looking at this pattern and the PUL and sherpa to make it. If you've used this pattern, what do you think? I have a 6 yr old who wets almost every night. I hate that he has to wear crinkly Good Nites, and they give him eczema in the winter.
Is Very Baby a good place to buy PUL? I didn't have any luck finding it cheaper online.
3  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Discussion and Questions / Symphony or Elizabeth 2? on: September 29, 2007 06:33:09 PM
My DH has offered to buy me a wheel for Christmas... problem is I've never spun and my LYS has no one who knows how to, much less offers any wheels to rent.

I've spent hours online and narrowed it down to the Kromski Symphony or Ashford Elizabeth 2 (based on aesthetics and ability to spin a range of yarns).

Does anyone have experinece with both wheels? I would appreciate all kinds of opinions and feedback!

Thanks!
4  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Anyone made a baby Lelah top? on: August 21, 2007 05:03:55 AM
I love the pattern but don't have lots of knittting time so I'd like to size it down to a 2T. I have no experience in altering patterns...can anyone suggest how to do it?
5  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Simple A-line toddler dress on: June 15, 2007 07:45:57 PM
I fell in love with this fabric at JoAnn... my little girl wore it for her brother's and friends' birthday parties. Lots of freedom of movement for running and playing!

6  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Leaf Camisole Knit.1 Summer '07 on: June 02, 2007 08:43:54 PM
Anyone else like this pattern? I thought it looked very summery and quick to knit.
7  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Discussion and Questions / Has anyone modified Butterick 3772 (toddler A-line sleeveless dress)? on: June 02, 2007 08:55:09 AM
I love how quick and easy this pattern is; I've made 2 dresses so far but my little girl is so skinny she looks like she's wearing a tent!

I was thinking about adding some shirring at the back? Or maybe cutting the pieces narrower? I am not very experienced so I'm a little afraid to go chopping off pieces of the pattern.

Thanks for any suggestions!
