whoa that is trippy and cool. i wonder how you'd attach all the toilet rolls together so they're perfectly stacked. that seems a bit tricky.

well the elastic gets frayed coz the safety pins have sharp edges. also, yeah, i don't know how to do any good knots so they just fall apart.
93  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / what kind of string should i use for a safety pin bracelet? on: November 22, 2004 01:34:14 PM
i tried to make the bracelet that's under the topic "safety pin bracelet" on the jewelry board. but the kind of string i used didn't work well. first i tried gimp, then elastic-y stuff that has silver metallic stuff wrapped around it, then fishing line, but none of them work well. what kind of string works for this project?

also, i don't know how to tie a good knot to finish off this bracelet. so afraid everything will apart!

i tried making this bracelet but i think the string i used wasn't good. first i tried gimp, then that stretchy elastic stuff that has silver aluminum stuff wrapped around it, then fishing line. none of them seem to do the trick. any suggestions?

awesome stocking. very unique. you could make them in colors that match your decor, hang them up, and put poutpurri or something in them.

99  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: multi directional diagonal scarf on: August 19, 2004 03:59:29 PM
i want to try this pattern, that scarf looks very cool, but the part of the directions i don't understand is "Inc-knit into front AND back of stitch". Now I can knit into the front of a stitch, and I can knit into the back of a stitch, but I don't know what it means to do both on one stitch.
