haha that is such a creative use of popsicle sticks! i see tissue box covers in the stores but they are pretty ugly and expensive. i know how you feel about tissue boxes, especially because i have year-round allergies and use about a box per week! the really cool thing about your cover too, is that you can make it for any size tissue box! because the ones they sell in the stores only come in one or two standard sizes, which are not the sizes of tissue boxes that i use!

i went to carleton u for my freshman year, and i remember seeing that kitty condo! and of course, i saw the parliament buildings & the eternal flame, but the kitty thing is really unique. wonder if those cats freeze their butts off in the -40 degree winters??

this suggestion is more diy than crafty...

we got a food processor for christmas, and it's been really handy in grinding meat. we didn't even intend to use it that way, but it's the perfect tool for it! we've ground chicken thighs to make wonton filling, pork tenderloin to make burgers, dark turkey meat to stuff into bell peppers & bake...there are so many possibilities! we think that fresh ground diy meat tastes wayyyy better than packaged ground meat at the grocery store. and it's great because you don't have a buy a package of ground meat specifically for one recipe-you can just take the chicken that you use for other recipes and just grind that up. saves us some money! if you try this, let me know how it goes!

i really sympathize with your ebay experience because my boyfriend has gotten screwed every which way on ebay and there's no real way to resolve disputes with them because they just run you round in circles. despite that, you have really triumphed and come out with some gorgeous earrings. and you left the ebay seller some really bad feedback, right?

Does she have plans to rule the world (of crafting, of course)? Meaning, does she want to expand her businesses and make them more commercially profitable?
