21  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Friendship Bracelets on: June 14, 2007 05:10:37 PM
I was thinking of making a set of friendship bracelets for a craft fair. How much should I sell them for?
22  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Where Can I Learn? on: June 14, 2007 04:38:10 PM
I really want to learn how to crochet. Where can I learn? It always seems super fun and I know several people who do it (but I can't learn from them because I see them about once a year, sometimes not even that).
23  CLOTHING / Shoes: Discussion and Questions / Cute and Uncomfy Shoes on: June 14, 2007 04:30:16 PM
Okay, the shoes aren't mine, they're my mom's, and I must say they are HAWT shoes. They're black peep-toe heels, but my mom says they're extremely uncomfortable. I want to do something nice for her because she's going through a hard time right now and somehow make her shoes more comfortable by maybe making a foam shoe thing. How do I make those? Any other ideas on how to make the shoes more comfortable?

Thanks!
Star

P.S. She says, the most uncomfortable part is the "end" of the shoe. It pinches her toes.
24  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / Mystarstyle11's ATC Gallery on: June 14, 2007 02:58:15 PM
Hello everyone! I have decided to make myself a gallery even though I only have two ATCs at the moment. I made them both today and they are my first. One is digital and one is well, not digital.

http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h145/ratfreakfriend10/OMG_ATC.jpg
This is the not digital one, my VERY first, and I'm sorry for the "stripe" effect on the face and the messy handwriting. My scanner messed it up. I am not showing the other one because I'm saving it for the ATC Monthly Challenge, but once that's over I will post it, in the meantime I will be making more and posting them up here. Comments welcome and suggestions are welcome too! =D
25  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Toilet Paper Tube? on: June 13, 2007 07:33:48 PM

26  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / About 3-5 Inch Wide Fabric Scraps and a Pearl? on: June 13, 2007 07:15:09 PM
I have these fabric scraps from a dress I'm working on that are about 3-5 inches wide and I have no clue what to do with them. I'm clueless! I also have a pearl (with a hole through it) that I don't know what to do for, so, PLEASE HELP!
27  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Earth Goddess/Princess Ideas? on: June 13, 2007 06:52:10 PM
Okay, well, I know it's super early to be planning my Halloween costume, but I want to figure it out now so if I choose to sew my costume, and it takes a few months, it'll be done. I'm kind of leaning towards a Goddess or Earth Goddess or a Princess. What should I do for that. I want to stand out with my costume and have something other than just a dress, or have a dress that POPS! Any ideas? Also, any other good costume ideas would be cool.
28  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / A pearl? on: June 13, 2007 02:55:58 PM
Well, my friend (who I must say ROCKS for doing this) got me a real pearl from her trip to Hawaii. So, she had a hole drilled in it for a necklace, but they she saw how much the CORDS for it was, so now, what do I do? The only string I have is sewing thread.
29  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / Any Tips for an ATC Newbie? on: June 11, 2007 09:51:38 PM
As you could probably figure out from the title, I'm new to ATCs and need any possible tips or help there might be. I'm thinking of making an ATC of my zodiac sign and then maybe do a series on that, but I'm not sure of the dimensions, what materials are best to use, etc. Please help? ATCs sound really fun and easy, but I don't want to "mess up" on my first ATC. And yes, yes, I know that there is no such thing as "messing up" in art/crafting, but you get my point.

                            Help needed,

30  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Discussion and Questions / What Should I Make? on: June 11, 2007 11:47:36 AM
I'm feeling crafty at the moment, but I don't know what to make. I have several supplies and I could always buy a few cheap ones so, if I don't have something I'll just go buy it. Here's what I have:

-Fabric Scraps
-Paper(Watercolor, Tracing, Construction, etc.)
-Scissors
-Tape
-Glue
-Toilet Paper Rolls
-Empty Plastic Containers
-Cardboard
-String for friendship bracelets(got bored after a while)
-Ribbon
-All basic art mediums(crayons, oil pastels, markers, etc.)
-Many "boring" clothing items

That's about all I have. I'm sure I have more I could add on there, but the thought that I could use that item probably never occurred to me. Well, I can't wait to hear some ideas and start craftin'!

P.S. I have a sewing machine. *wink wink*
