11  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Drawer/Door Handles on: July 01, 2007 08:10:12 PM
I have these old door or drawer handle things and I was wondering if there was anything I could do with them. They look like they're brass and they're about 4 inches long maybe? I don't have my ruler.
12  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Party Planning / Party Ideas? on: June 29, 2007 10:10:21 PM
Sorry to be so "general" with this topic, but I need party ideas. The thing is, it needs to be at least slightly cheap and easy. The truth is, I've never had a party where something hasn't gone wrong. NEVER. So, basically all my parties have sucked. I've had people fight, get out of control, get upset, and many other things. I've tried having a theme at every party, but NO ONE LISTENS to me when I tell them to be quiet so I can tell them what's going on. Basically, the only way I could have a successful "party" is if I only had me and one other person. I'M SO UPSET ABOUT THIS! Sorry about my rant, just, please help me! Any themes, tips, tricks will work for me. I'm desperate!
13  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Shoe Swap! on: June 29, 2007 09:23:28 PM
How about a shoe swap? I was thinking for this, you could decorate, recon, and create a shoe with a theme that fits your partner and stuff it with things they like, like necklaces, magnets, or a belt. Maybe even a mini-journal. =] Whatcha' think of the idea? I couldn't host it, at least not in July, but anyone is welcome to use this idea. ^^
14  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Sock Monkey? on: June 29, 2007 06:16:33 PM
Okay, well, I saw this ADORABLE knitted sock monkey and I wanted to make it. The only problem is that well, I don't know how to knit. First off, are there patterns needed in knitting? If so, does anyone know where I could find a sock monkey pattern and instructions?
15  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Stuck to Pan (Salt Dough-Not food) on: June 23, 2007 09:25:01 PM
Okay, well, there's this salt dough stuff you can make, it's sort of like polymer clay I think, and anyway, it's sort of stuck to the pan I baked it with. Any ideas how to get it off the pan?
16  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Rainbow Swap! on: June 15, 2007 10:35:22 PM
I know almost EVERYONE loves rainbows! They're just so multicolored and I can just invision a big rainbow swap in my mind. ATCs, T-shirts, toys, the list goes on and on for rainbows!
17  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Any Tips for a First Time Plushie/Doll Maker? on: June 15, 2007 09:43:40 PM
Well, I designed my own little doll and I was hoping for some tips beforehand so I don't mess up TOO badly. Also, any tips for making your own patterns? I know it's mainly a trial and error, but anything other than that? I just want to thank everyone in advance for (hopefully) the help they give. =) PEACE!
18  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Father's Day / I Have Ideas, But Which Should I Do? on: June 15, 2007 08:31:55 PM
Not all of them are super crafty or even good ideas, but at the moment, I'm deperate since Father's Day is a day away. Here are my ideas and which one(s) should I choose to make my dad?:

*Stuffie(since I'm learning it)
*Shirt
*Wallet
*Picture Frame
*Bookmark
*"Gadget" Holder(He has two pagers, a cell phone, and a Blackberry)
*Organizer(Either shelf or folder; He's super unorganized)
*Keyboard Key Necklace(Maybe it'll say "DAD" on it)
*Casual Shoes(He has absolutely NONE)
*A Dad ATC
*A Love Tin(I found this idea somewhere on here where you decorate a tin and stick a bunch of inspirational quotes and fun stuff in it)

Well, which ones should I use? Also, any other ideas would be cool. =)
19  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Father's Day / Help with a Project? on: June 15, 2007 08:38:58 AM
Crap. Only two days to Father's Day and I have ZIP! Whenever I asked him what he wanted for Father's Day he said, "World peace." I obviously can't help with world peace. For my mom I got her a bunch of stuff. Why do dads have to be hard to buy for? Anyway, I need ideas. ANY ideas! Even if they take a while to make/get or whatever, a late present is better than no present. =) My dad likes poker, he's obsessed with the Cardinals (baseball), works in troubleshooting at Sisters of Mercy, and every now and then has a beer (not a big beer drinker though). Ideas Please!!!

MY IDEA I NEED HELP WITH: Also, one idea I have, since he has SO much crap and it always ends up all over the kitchen table, is to make him an organizer thing for his papers. How do I do that? Any tutorial links?
20  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / What Do You Think of My Idea? on: June 14, 2007 10:02:23 PM
Okay, well, I was brainstorming some creatures just for fun (and I was dying to make one after I saw what everyone else did) and after a long, frustrating, 30 minutes of thinking and crumpling up paper, I came up with a creature; Watercats, as in WATERMELON-Cats. I drew a picture, but I do not have a scanner at my dad's house so it basically looks like this: Head is shaped like half a watermelon with cat ears, body is a regular watermelon, small paws, and a tail. Whatcha' think? =) I will post a picture as soon as I can too.
