1  CLOSED: 2012 Ripple-along (pattern links included) in Crochetalongs by Horse Power on: May 02, 2012 04:36:48 AM
I just started a new afghan this morning, it's going to be big and I would love some company in the coming weeks! Any ripple pattern you want to use would be fine, I'm using this one:

I nearly went with this one, it's pretty, too! Maybe for the next blanket!

Mine's going to be butter yellow, sage, and tan. I'm halfway into Row 2!  Smiley

Hi everybody! Well, months of computer and printer issues kept me from keeping up with this thread as much as I would have liked, but I wanted to say that you all rocked this crochetalong! I saw all the pictures of the finished afghans and they are stunning. Just stunning. Thanks everybody for participating!

I finished mine, I was only able to do 8 out of the 12 squares, plus 4 fillers, I thought about going back to catch up, but decided I liked the size it was and to keep it as is. Here's a pic:

5  Re: Dishalicious Dishcloth/Washcloth Round 6 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Horse Power on: October 14, 2008 07:37:26 PM

Christinacoghill sent me the most awesome cloths! They arrived Saturday, I am so sorry for it taking me this long to get my act together in the camera department, but here they are! There's a beautiful pink and purple cloth... I'm in awe of your color-changing skills, that's an ingenius pattern! And the most adorable pink and white scrubbie (also an ingenius pattern!) And she also sent me a kitty! He's so cute, I hope all the detail of his little face and collar show up in the pic! He's very cheerful! Thank you so much, christinacoghill, I love what you sent me!

Also, I want to tell all previous posters what a great bunch of dishcloths they've put up in this thread, I've admired them all!

6  Re: ~*~ Tulip Throw in Crochetalongs by Horse Power on: May 17, 2008 08:25:36 AM
Thanks, guys!

Progress report: I'm up to 6 strips of tulips. I decided to make it kind of a stashbuster project, using up various shades of greens and flower colors.

8  Re: 2008 12" Squares ~ MAY in Crochetalongs by Horse Power on: May 06, 2008 07:17:25 PM
Thanks, craftADDchick! I think I will need four filler squares and will probably do a solid color granny for each.
grandkis ~ your May square turned out awesome the way you alternated colors!

I finished February's!

I was kind of worried going into this one, but I thought it was really pretty easy! I ended up loving this one!

Oh, May's square looks good in a single color, guys! Nice job!

Two more done:
January's:

First Filler Square:

This one's just your standard granny square, I kept going until it was nearly 12" then put a sc border around it.
