I have been making some tote bags but have either given them away or sold them. This is the first one that I am keeping for myself..

As you can guess, I am a California girl and love my Raiders..

32  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Help with cutting fabric... on: May 26, 2008 09:21:16 AM
I have picked up sewing again and just do fun projects.  Nothing to stressfull.  I find that the biggest pain for me is cutting the fabric.  I use both scissors and rotary cutter (for straight lines) but just feel that it should be easier.

Most of the time, if I am given dimensions, I will make a template from Poster paper and then put that on the fabric and use the rotary cutter or scissors.  I do pin the poster paper to the fabric..

Any ideas to make this fabric cutting easier are appreciated....
