I just made this tote bag for my niece.  This is the first time I have ever done an applique and am so happy on how it turned out... It is roomy. 15X13X1

I finally have had a chance to post the Key Chain Pouch Wallet that I have made.  I used the pattern from AiviloCharlotte Designs.  Very easy instructions to follow.  The next time, I will make a bit smaller..  The instructions have iron on Velcro but I tried it but it wouldn't stick.  I was going to use some craft glue but decided to finally use the Snap Tool I have had and never had used.  Not bad for my first snaps. I am sure they will get better with practice. 

If anyone has any tips on installing snaps, they would really be appreciated.

I just made this one for my nieces 16th birthday.  I am putting it into the mail tomorrow.   


Chocolate Lollipop fabric with brown/white pocka dots


It has a zippered pocket. I didn't put a closure on it.  Sometimes those are such a pain to get opened when you have to put your wallet in your purse.
So, I kept it out.

I have been wanting to make this bag for a while.  I love the way it turned out...  I made it for one of my sons girlfriends.. She loves it.. It is roomy but not too big...

I made another journal cover using Heart of Mary's great tutorial. http://pinoyinoz.blogspot.com/2008/09/some-great-news.html

 The only problem I always have is that I am using different size journals and I always have to cram them into the cover.  This time, I actually had to cut the journal about 1/4 inch.  So, I have made a note to myself to add at least another 1/4 - 1/2 inch to the height for my pieces..... Otherwise, it is so easy to follow the wonderfully written instructions.....

I have been wanting to make this purse/tote for my niece.  I just finished it.  It is a tote bag size about 11X12 but has purse type strap.  Two pockets inside.  I was going to put in a magnetic closure but sometimes those are such a pain to deal with each time you need something out of the bag.  So, I didn't.. Maybe I'll put one in the next one.  I have some really cute Valentine's fabric that I am making another one out of ...

I made this Quillow for my husband for Christmas.... It turned out great and he loves it.... The top and pillow pocket are purple Minnesota Vikings cotton and the back is lighter purple Minnesota Vikings Fleece.. Its really big.  Its about 53" wide and about 112" long.  He can take it to the ball games and sit on it and when it gets really cold, he can pull it out of the pillow/pocket and wrap himself with it....


This is the entire blanket folded into the pocket.

I made these coasters for my sister.  They are so easy to make.  I made a set of 4 with two fat quarters.

I was given some great fabric that is already quilted. So, I don't really need to waste any fabric for the lining however not sure how to use it for a tote since I don't want to see the seams.  Help
