Amarok: Thanks for the comments.... I buy most of my designs from http://www.emblibrary.com/EL/default.aspx

If you register for their Countdown to Christmas, they will send you sales and discount codes.   Once you start purchasing from them, they will also send ou discount codes almost weekly. I only paid $1.25 for each of these fairy designs.....
13  SEWING IN GENERAL / Machine Embroidery: Discussion and Questions / Re: Suggestions for a newbie on: October 03, 2010 01:28:09 PM
I have been using designs from http://www.emblibrary.com/EL/default.aspx  They are so reasonable.  I love their beautiful designs and their website has some tutorials on the projects.  When you register with them, they send you codes for 50% off or 10 for $10 etc..... Make sure you sign up for the Countdown to Christmas Club....

They have some that are free and then alot that are just $1 so you can see how easy they are to use and how beautiful they come out.....

Check out my blog http://thatsastitch.blogspot.com/and you will see some of the projects that I have done using their designs. I have only had my machine for about 5 months now... So, I am also a beginner

I picked up this beach towel on clearance and knew I had to personalize it for my niece.  It turned out so cute. I just love it. I am still learning about placing my letters. I have had the machine for less than 2 months.

I love Pink and Orange together.

Finished product

This is how I set it up. I put the threads on the towel to see how well they matched and I had printed the letters I was using then pinned them to the towel
