31  Re: Another Messenger Bag w/ Zip Top Closure - TUTORIAL NOW ON Page 3! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by mhills on: July 11, 2008 06:35:11 AM
Thanks for the wonderful tutorial.... It was so easy to follow.

Did you use really stiff interfacing? I used medium and used both canvas fabrics and mine just doesn't seem at stiff as yours. But for my first messenger bag, I am very happy and so thankful to you for taking the time to make a great tutorial for all of us...

32  Backpack~ Golden State Warriors gym backpack in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by mhills on: July 06, 2008 08:05:38 AM
I have been wanting to make a gym backpack for one my sons.  I was at Joann's Fabrics and found this great Warrior material yesterday and couldn't wait to get home to make.  I lined with red/orange canvas so I didn't have to put interfacing in it... I set grommet's on side seems.

I just love the way it came out.  Not bad for my first backpack..  He can't wait to take it to the gym today.

Please let me know what you think?

I have been making some tote bags but have either given them away or sold them. This is the first one that I am keeping for myself..

As you can guess, I am a California girl and love my Raiders..
