1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Colorful Felted Shoulder Bag on: July 27, 2007 08:21:07 PM
Your bag is way cool! I'm loving the colours and that whole felted thing!
Good job!
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Little girl's sweater to lined bag on: July 04, 2007 06:58:45 PM

I bought this little girl's sweater from the Salvos one day while op-shopping. I just couldn't resist it! So cute! Just one problem. No little girls to wear it! My five little girls are big now. So, I decided to make it into a bag. (You know, you can never have too many bags or too much chocolate. It's kind of a law of the universe I think. Hmmm.) I was really pleased with it. I especially like the zip pocket - for all those things you don't want to lose in your bag!
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: knitted scarf on: June 11, 2007 08:43:52 PM
It looks so cosy! What yarn did you use ?
I used Patons Feathers and Powder Puff. The Powder Puff makes the Feathers so much easier to knit! I knitted it quite loosely on 8mm needles.
4  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Punch Needle Embroidery Rooster on: June 11, 2007 02:42:57 AM

5  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: No more poking needles in armrests ... an embroidery armrest organizer on: June 11, 2007 02:39:48 AM
Great idea! It could save injuries. Ever lost a needle in the armrest? Oh no! Me either, I'm just saying it could be dangerous if you did!
