1  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / French artestic rendering....DUE TOMORROW! on: April 20, 2008 08:44:06 AM
So I've been doing this huge french research projet and part of it has to include an artistic rendering. I can't draw well, and it just has to be something that repersents anything in French Culture. It can be like a diagram, painting, drawing, ect. Any Ideas?
2  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / White on Black on: January 20, 2008 02:52:21 PM
So I bought a black hoodie with and some iron on letters to spell out "DRUG FREE" across the chest.

Problem? I don't want to use the letters, they appear to be too small.

For my first time stenciling, I stenciled white on a black shirt. It came out, as I call it, crunchy.

SO, how can I stencil with white acrylic ad textile medium on a black hoodie with out the crunch factor?

7  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Whats your favorite "quickie craft"? on: June 26, 2007 07:25:44 PM
Sometimes we all feel like being crafty, but we don't want to start something elaborate or go to the craft store.

What is your favorite craft that takes abut two hours or less?

Post them here so we can all find something to do when we just have to craft at 11 pm and we don't want to have search through 99 pages of searches for the words "quick and easy with tute".

It wold be good if it was made from stuff that most craftsers have at home but anythings fine.

Lets see if we can make a billion page topic.

Oh, yeah, If you know of a tute, post the link please.

8  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Hmmm..lots of.....yarn? on: June 04, 2007 09:24:03 PM
K so I have LOADS of yarn laying around.

Problem is... I can't or crochet. People always buy me "learn to knit" kits, but I just can't. Plus, when targets dollar section has fluffy soft yarn for a dollar....who could resist. I've been thinking and searching but the only thingI've found is yarn dolls but I don't have any use for them.
If anyone knows of any learn to knt or crochet tutorials that might be nice too but I'd rather just figure out something to do with it.

Sorry for the longgg boring post.
